No. H-10, and on motion of Trustee'Dearborn seconded by Trustee Thorning <br />same was received and filed. Motion carried. <br />San Francisco, Aug 7th, 1926. <br />W.A.Price. <br />Dear Sir: <br />The enclosed card is the first notice we received about this assess - <br />if <br />ment we owe a lot valued at $300.00 and the street work is $925.00/this sum is not a <br />mistake we the undersigned want to protest as this is too large an amount and we cannoi <br />afford to pay it. <br />Respectfully <br />Therese L. Motion carri5d. <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING STREET ASSESSMENT <br />WHEREAS, the assessment for street work done under that certain contract <br />dated September 4th, 1925, betwwen A. J. Crocker Co., a corporation, first party, <br />and C. L. Dimmitt, as Superintendent of Streets of the Town of Redwood City, as <br />second party, for the doing of all street work mentioned and described in Resolution <br />of Intention No. H-10, passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of <br />Redwood City on the 15th day of June, 1925, and now on file in the office of the <br />Clerk of said Town of Red:rood City, to which Resolution of Intention reference is <br />hereby made for a description of said work, was filed in the office of the Clerk <br />of said Town of Redwood City on the 16th day of July 1926; and <br />71HEREAS, thid*Town Clerk did thereupon fix TLonclay, the 9th day of August, <br />19267 at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M. of said day, at the Council Chamber of the <br />Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City in the Town Hall of saki Torn as the <br />I time and place of hearing on said assessment as required by law and as the time <br />and place of making written objections thereto as provided for in the Improvement <br />Act of 1911; and <br />
