There: <br />is excepteo, however,, from the' <br />above described work on Davis! <br />Street a strip twenty four (2¢)y <br />;inches in width Immediately, ad-' <br />jacent to the curb lines on both <br />sides of said Davis Street'that is <br />to be paved reserved for concrete <br />gutters. And further provided that <br />there is also excepted a strip; <br />eighteen (18) inches in width im-_, <br />mediately adjacent to the curb <br />lines on both sides of all the other <br />streets hereinbefore mentioned <br />. that are to 'be paved reserved for <br />gutters. All gutters to be con- <br />structed"on the above described <br />streets as herein mentioned shall <br />be constructed, on a two (2)' inch <br />base or cushion of broken stone. <br />That hydraulic cement concrete <br />gutter be constructed on both <br />sides of Davis Street, above de- <br />scribed to be paved, said gutter <br />to be twenty-four (24), .inches in <br />width and to have a uniform <br />thickness of five (5) inches. <br />That hydraulic cement concrete <br />combination curb and gutter be <br />constructed on both aides of all <br />the hereinbefore. mentioned and <br />described streets and avenues ex- <br />cepting Davis Street' that are to <br />"be paved, the curb portion of said <br />combination curb aha gutter to <br />be six (6) inches across the top <br />and eleven (11) inches deep, and <br />the gutter portion of said combi- <br />nation curb and gutter to be,eight <br />.sen. (18) inches wide, and 'six (6) <br />inches thick next to the pavement <br />and five (5) inches thick next to <br />the curb,, and said combination <br />curb and gutter to be constructed' <br />at one, time so that there shall <br />be no joint between the curb and <br />gutter. <br />l0 _A <br />
