106 <br />AN ORDINANCE PECAULITING'I`HE <br />Ct)NDL'CT OF THE PUBLIC IN <br />GOING TO AND AT FIRLS IN 1 <br />TRE TOWN OF It'EDWOOD <br />CITY. <br />The Board of Trustees of the Town of <br />Redwood City do ordain as follows, to - <br />wit: <br />SECTION 1, It Is hereby declared <br />unlawful for any person, other than', , <br />members of the Redwood City Fire De <br />partment and Redwood City Police De- <br />partment to follow a fire engine of the, <br />Redwood City Fire Department to any <br />fire at a closer distance than 'three <br />hundred yards from said Fire Engine. <br />SECTIO\ 2. It Is hereby declared <br />hnlaw•fbl for any person, other than + <br />members of the Redwood City Fire lie- i1 <br />partment and Redwood City Police De- <br />partment to be within 100 feet of anYl <br />lire in the Town of ,Redwood City, or <br />within 100 feet of any lire engine while <br />said fire engine is working at any lire'' <br />-in the Town o2 Redwood City. <br />SECTION 9. It' Is hereby declared <br />unlawful for any person, other than <br />members of the Redwood City Fire <br />Department and Redwood CItyi Police <br />Department to 'drive or leave any auto-' <br />moblie within one hundred yards of <br />any lire in the Town of Redwood City, <br />or within one hundred yards of any I <br />lire engine while said engine Is work, <br />Ing at any fire in the Town of Redwood <br />City. <br />SECTION 4. The word "fire" as used <br />herein shall mean a fire In the Town <br />of Redwood City which Is attended by <br />• the Redwood• City Fire Department, <br />SECTION 6. Any !person vicluting <br />ahy•of tife provisions of this ordinance <br />shall be daemed .guilty of a misde- <br />meaner'and upon Conviction thereof <br />shall be punished by a fine not ex- <br />ceeding three hundred dollars or by Im- <br />i prisonment in the Count) Jail of the <br />i County of San Mateo, not exceeding <br />ninety days, or by both such line and <br />Imprisonment. 4 <br />SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be <br />published once In the Redwood City <br />Standard, a weekly newspaper pub- <br />s lished, prinled and circulated in said <br />Town of Redwood City, and shall take <br />effect and be In force from and after <br />th;lrty (90) days after Its passage. <br />Introduced this 7th day of September, <br />1920. <br />Passed and adopted as an ordinance <br />of the 'town of Redwood City by the <br />Board of Trustees of said Town at a <br />regular meeting of said Board held on <br />the 20th day of September, 1926, by the <br />following vote: <br />Ayes and In favor of the passage of <br />the foregoing Ordinance, Trustees, <br />Z. T. Thorning, D. R. Stafford, G. W, <br />McNulty, 17. M. Dearborn, H. A.
