<br />Upon roll call there were present, Trustees, Pres, H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Thorning, G.W.

<br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Thorning, minutes of,meeting held
<br />April 5th, 8th, 19th, and 26th, 1926. be dispensed with until next rem meeting.
<br />Motion carried.,
<br />On motion of Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee McNulty, the Clerk be instructed
<br />to purchase one 50 foot Seagrave Rapid Hoist Trussed Extension Ladder, for the sum of
<br />0160.00. Motion carried.
<br />Application of H.P.Hansen, for a Master Plumbing licence in this City, was on motio;t
<br />Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee M-ONulty, said application be grantecl.Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee McNulty, find carried, the foll-
<br />owing"NOTICE" be received and filed; to -wit:
<br />NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE PETITION FOR THE •ANNEXATION
<br />OF THE HEREIN DESCRIBED CONTIGUOUS TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF REDWOOD CITY.
<br />We, the undersigned electors, residing within the district hereinafter,
<br />described, hereby declare that we intend to circulate and will circulate a petition
<br />asking for the annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the Town of Redwood
<br />City, a municipal corporation of the Sixth class, situated in the County of San Mateo,
<br />State of California.
<br />Said territory is contiguous to the limits of said Town of Redwood City and
<br />exterior boundaries thereof are described as follows, to -wit:
<br />Commencing at the intersection of the northeasterly line of El Camino Real,
<br />or State Highway, and the westerly'line of the County Road leading from Redwood City to
<br />Woodside extended northerly to intersect same; thence southeasterly along the northeast
<br />erly line of said El Camino Real, or State Highway, to its intersection with the north-
<br />westerly line of the Town of Atherton, produced northeasterly in a staight line across
<br />said El Camino Real, or State Highway; thence southwesterly along the northwesterly bL -
<br />dary line of the Town of Atherton to the intersection of said northwesterly boundayy
<br />line of said Town of Atherton and the northeasterly line of the Horgan 100 acre tract;
<br />thence northwesterly alomg the northeasterly line of said Horgan 100 acre tract to the
<br />southeasterly line of the County Road leading from Redwood City to Woodside; thence
<br />southerly along said southeasterly line of said County Road leading Redwood City to
<br />Woodside to its intersection with the southweasterly lino of Valota Park, according to
<br />the map thereof of record in the Recorder's office of the County of San Mateo, State of
<br />California, in map Book 7, at page 34, along the production of said southwesterly line Cf
<br />said Valota Park and along the southwesterly line of said Valota Park northwesterly to
<br />the Southeasterly limits of the Town of Redwood City;
<br />Thence northeasterly along the southeasterly limits of the Town of Redwood Ci y
<br />to the westerly line of the County Road leading from Redwood City to Woodside; thence
<br />northerly along the said westerly line of said County Road leading from Redwood City
<br />to Woodside to the northeasterly line of the E1 Oamino Real, or State Highway, and the
<br />point of beginning; said hereinbefore described territory is commonly known as "The Fiv
<br />Points District",

<br />RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF PETITION
<br />AND APPROVEING THE INTENTION OF THE PETITIONERS
<br />''' TO CIRCULATE PETITION.
<br />WHEREAS, on the 3rd.day of May, 1926, there was filed with the Board of Trustees
<br />of the Town of Redwood City a notice of intention to circulate petition for the -annex-
<br />ation of certain contiguous teritory to the Town of Redwood City, which petition is
<br />signed by Kennenth S. Murray, Bettha Murray, John Cerqui, Edith Cerqui, and John Preader,,
<br />qualified electors residing within the district sought to be annexed and described as
<br />follows, to -wit:
<br />Commencing at the intersection of the northeasterly line of E1 Camino Real, or
<br />State Highway, and thetwv�i#erly line of the County Road leading from Redwood City to
<br />Woodside extended northerly to intersect same; thence southeasterly along the northeas-
<br />terly line of said El Camino Real, or State Highway, to its intersection with the north-
<br />westerly line of the Town of lthetton produced northeasterly in a straight line across
<br />said E1'Camino Real, or State Highway; thence suuthwesterly along the northwesterly
<br />boundary line of the Town of Atherton to the intersection of said northwesterly boundary
<br />line of said Town of Atherton and the northeasterly line of the Horgan 100 acre tract;
<br />thence northwesterly along the northeasterly line of said Horgan 100 acre tract to the
<br />south®6sterly line of the County Road leading from Redwood City to Woodside; thence
<br />southerly along said southeasterly line of said County Road leading from Redwood City to
<br />Woodside to its intersection with the southwesterly line of Valota Park, according to
<br />the map thereof of record in the Recorder's office of the County of San Mateo, State of
<br />California, in Map Book 7, at page 34, produced southeasterly across said County Road;
<br />thence northwesterly along production of said southwesterly line of said Valota Park and
<br />alomg the southwesterly line of said Valota Park northwesterly to the southeasterly
<br />limits of the Town of Redwood City; thence northeasterly along the southeasterly limits
<br />of the Town of Redwood City to the westerly lineof the County Road leading from Redwood
