<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees held.
<br />s Upon roll call their were present Trustees, Pres H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Thorning, D.R.Staffcrd,
<br />G.67.Mcllulty, E.M.Dearborn, City Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />Ellinutes of regular meeting held September 20th, 1926, were read and on motion of Trus-
<br />tee McNulty seconded by Trustee Dearborn same be approved as read. Motion carried.
<br />Moved. by Trustee Thorning seconded by Trustee Dearborn, the Chairman appoint a commi-
<br />ttee to look into the improvement proposition of Joseph Garfoli on the corner of Roose-
<br />velt Ave and Highway. Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Thorning seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried, the following
<br />i
<br />dance permits were grahted, to -wit:
<br />Order of Owls Lodge in I.O.O.F. Hall, Saturday evening Oct 23rd, 1926', until 1 o'clock.
<br />Redwood City Liberty Club in I.O.O.F. Hall, Saturday eve Oct 16th,1926, until 1 o'clock.
<br />Redwood City Lodge No 1689 F., & A. Id. a social dance in Masonic.'Hall Saturday evening
<br />October 23th, 1926.
<br />Moved by Trustee Stafford,, seconded by Trustee McNulty, the Board be appointed as a
<br />of the whole, to look into tle proposition of purchasing a public park and play ground
<br />in the Eagle Hill district. Notion carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Stafford, the Chief of Police be
<br />authorized to purchase for the Police Dept a new motorcycle, turning in the old one
<br />towards said purchase. IaTotion carried.
<br />Reports of thr Treasurer, Tax Collector, Marshall, Building, Electrical, Plumbing
<br />'Inspector, Supt of Parks, and Puundmaster, were on motion of Trustee:McNulty, seconded
<br />by Trustee Dearborn same be received and filed: Motion carried.
<br />Affidavit of Sam H. Winklebleck in the matter of Publishing, and affidavit of V.A.
<br />Price City Clerk in the matter of Posting and Notice of Filling of unpaid Assessment Liwt
<br />and of the time fixed for hearing Under Resolution of Intention No. H-16, Improvement
<br />of.Myrtle Streets and others, was on motion of`TrusteeDearborn seconded by Trustee
<br />McNulty, same be received and filed. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Dearborn offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee
<br />McNulty seconds the motion, Motion carried.
<br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF THE
<br />TOWN OF REDWOOD CITY PURSUANT TO°RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. H-16
<br />DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID'ASSESSMENTS, PRESCRIBING THE
<br />DENOMINATIONS OF SUCH BONDS, AND'PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE AND
<br />DELIVERY.
<br />:7=1 EASI the Board of Trustees of the TovrA of Redwood City, did on the 8th day of
<br />September, 1925, pass and adopt its Resolution -of Intention No. H-16 for the improvement
<br />of portions of Myrtle Street, Lowell Street, King Street, Lexington Avenue, James Avenu;
<br />and Katherine Street, under the pursuant to the provisions of the "Improvement Act of
<br />1911," as amended, and did by said Resolution bf Intention provide that serial bonds to
<br />represent unpaid assessment, and bear interestYat the rate of seven (7) per cent per
<br />annum, will be issued thereunder in the manner provided by the "Improvement Bond Act of
<br />1915," the last installment of which Bonds shall mature nine (9) years from the second
<br />e
<br />day of July next succeeding ten months from th6ir date, reference to said Resolution of
<br />Intention being hereby expressly made for further particulars: and.
<br />WHEREAS, the contract for said work and improvement was duly awarded and thereafter dgly
<br />completed to the satisfaction of the Superintendent of Streets of said Town and of said
<br />Trustees, whereupon in due course an assessment, diagram and warrant, were made, recordEd

<br />and delivered to the contractor in time, form and manner as required by said act, and the.

<br />contraactor having made due return thereon and the same having duly filed; and
