<br />RESOLVED, that said Board of Trustees hereby rejects all of said b2dposals or
<br />bids except that next -herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said
<br />worksand making said improvements to the lowest, regular, responsible bidder, to -wit:

<br />at the prices named in their bid or proposal on file.
<br />The Town Clerk of the Town of Redwood City is hereby ordered and directed to pub -
<br />lisp, a notice of the award twice in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily newspaper publishei,
<br />printed and circulated in -said Town of Re&good City and hereby designated for that pur-

<br />under Resolution of Intention No. I-3, was on motion of Trustee Dearborn, seconded by
<br />Trustee Stafford said :reques..t be granted. Motion carried.
<br />Application of three (3) property owners consisting of 524 feet asking the.Board
<br />to improve the street facing their, property in Oakwood Park tract, was on motion of
<br />Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Dearborn same be received and filed for future
<br />referrence. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Stafford offers the following Resolution and moves^its adoption, Trustee

<br />{ t"MMEAS, there is located at Redwood City the Plant of the Pacific Portland Cemen"J
<br />Company manufacturing the "Golden Gate" brand of portland cement; and

<br />'WHEREAS, said plant employs a large number of residents of Redwood City and is of
<br />{� great benefit to the City,
<br />ITOI TIM11E ORE, be it Resolved by the Board of Trustees that we recommend the use
<br />of "Golden Gate" brand Portland Cement in all public work in said City and request all
<br />Contractors to use said brand of cement.
