177 <br />Redwood City February 7th, 1927, 7.30 oieloek.P:M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call theretwere present Trustees Pres H.A.Beeger, Z..T.Thorning, D.R.Staffori., <br />G.W.MeNulty. E.M.Dearborn, City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of meetings held January 17th and 24th, 1927, were read and on motion of Trus <br />tee. Thorning seconded by Trustee McNulty said minutes be approved as read.Motion carried,, <br />City <br />The following report was received fron the/Planning Commission &oAwt; <br />« Redwood City, Calif, <br />January 24, 1927. <br />Honorable Board of Trustees, <br />Redwood City, Calif. <br />Dear Sirs: <br />« The City Planning Commission received an application for placing of certain <br />lots in Len -Holt Tract in the business zone, and we make recommendation that the fol- <br />lowing lots be placed within the business district: <br />Lot 1 Block 1 <br />Ti 1-2-8-9 " 4 <br />It 1-2-8-9 " 7 <br />IT 1-2-7-8 ° 10 , <br />n 1 <br />IT l3 <br />n <br />These lots all front on Stafford St, paralleling the S.P.R.R. right-of-way. <br />` We also recommend that the undivided portion of Block bounded by Rogers, <br />Stafford'TMATT and Arguello Sts.; portion fronting on Stafford St, for a depht of 125 ft <br />be placed in the business zone and portion fronting on Rogers St, for a depth of 100 <br />t, <br />ft, be placed in the business zone. <br />- Yours very truly <br />REDWOOD CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Bry F..K. Towne. , <br />Seedy. <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Stafford the report of the City <br />Planning Commission be received and filed and the business and fire district recommended <br />+ <br />by the Commission be granted, also the business and fire district be extended from the <br />Len -Holt traet to the City limits on the north. Motion oarried. <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Co to set two poles on Bonita Ave, as per <br />Blue Print #1319-R, was on motion of TrusteeStafford seconded by Trustee McNulty said <br />9 <br />permit be granted. Motion carried. <br />Application of S. Weissman for a permit to hold a dance in Forsters Hall on Saturday <br />evening February 19th, 1927 until ONE o'elock. <br />Appliaation of the San Mateo Prymid of Seiots for a permit to hold a dance in Fores- <br />ters Hall February 12, 1927, until ONE o'clock. was on motion of Trustee Stafford, seconc. <br />dei ed by Trustee McNulty said permits be granted. Motion oarried. <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Dearborn the City Electrician be <br />authorize t6 purchase the necessary transformer and have same installed.Motion carried. <br />On motilin of Trustee Stafford, seconded by Trustee McNulty the.matter of keeping the <br />M + <br />City dumps be referred to the Street Committee. Motion carried. <br />Reports"of the Treasurer, Tax Collectofb, Chief of Police, Building,Electrieal, Plum- <br />bing Inspector, Supt of Parks and Poundmaster, was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded <br />by Trustee Dearborn said reports be received and filed.
