Motion carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Stafford seconded by Trustee McNulty in regards to the erection of <br />sign boards the matter ^be referred `to the ogiiilon of the 'Ci ty`Attorney'arid lie to mail to <br />each member of the Board a copy`of the proposed ordinance. Motion carried. <br />A petition from members of the Redwood un.clenominational Church asking the Boara*to <br />exempt the church property from City taxes, was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded <br />by Trustee Thorning the request take the same precedure as other church property. <br />Motion carried. <br />Supt of Parks George Hopkins was on motion^of Trustee Stafford seconded by Trustee <br />Dearborn to remove r the trees on Rogers Street between the Highway and the Southern Paci- <br />^ <br />fie Railroad crossing. Motion carried. <br />Application_of the Pacific Gas & Electric Co for permission to two poles on Westgate <br />Avenue astper Blue Print No1368-R, was on motion of Trustee McNulty seconded by Trustee <br />Dearborn same be granted. Motion carried. <br />n <br />Application of W.H.Medley for a Electrician License to do business in this City, was <br />on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Dearborn said permit be granted. <br />Motion carried. <br />s <br />Application of the Harmony Club for a permit to hold a dance in Foreaters Hall on <br />Saturday evening May 21, 1927_ until 1 o'clock, was on motion of Trustee Stafford secon- <br /><< <br />aed by Trustee Thorning same be granted. Motion carried. <br />Communication from Martin Hayes 498 St Francis Ave, in regardstto the nuisance at <br />_1 <br />565 Quartz St causc_iby large number of chickens and ducks, was on motion of -Trustee <br />Dearborn seconded by Trustee McNulty said communication be referred to City Health off- <br />icer Drathman same to be reported back at next meeting. Motion carried. <br />i <br />On motion of Trustee Stafford seconded by Trustee McNulty, President Beeger and City <br />Attorney Mansfield be appointed a committee to meet with the First National Bank Offici- <br />als in regards to recent shortage of the late Treasurer F.K.Towne. Motion carried. <br />Affidavits of Jas D. Hedge and Horace W. Amphlett in the matter of Publishing, and <br />affidavit of W.A.Price,City Clerk in the matter of notifing Election Officers and of <br />of Special Annexation Election of the Johnson tract' <br />mailing out sample ballots/was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Thorn- <br />ing same be received and filed. Motion carried. <br />This being the time and place for the canvasing of the returns of the special elect - <br />ion held for the annexation of the JOHNSON TRACT, the Board of Trustees proceeded to can. - <br />vas said returns in public by opening the -returns and examining the vote cast thereat, <br />whereupon it was found, and the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City hereby de- <br />clares, that the total cast at said special annexation election was three (3). <br />ballots <br />That the number of/sus marked YES and in favor of the annexation.were three (3), <br />and the number of ballots marked NO and against the annexation were NONE (0). <br />On motion of Trustee MUnulty seconded by Trustee Thorning said annexation election be <br />declared carried. Motion carried. <br />Trustee Dearborn offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee <br />ra <br />Thorning seconds the motion.
