<br />That Stafford Street from Rog-
<br />ers Street to a point 85 feet
<br />northwesterly from the north-
<br />westerly line of D Street ex-
<br />tended southwesterly across said
<br />Stafford Street; Arguello Street
<br />from Rogers Street to the north-
<br />westerly end thereof; Lenolt
<br />Street, from Rogers Street to the
<br />northwesterly end thereof; Rog-
<br />ers Street from Arguello Street
<br />to the northeasterly end thereof;
<br />A Street from Stafford Street to
<br />the northeasterly end thereof; B
<br />Street from Stafford Street to the
<br />northeasterly end thereof; C -
<br />Street from Stafford Street to
<br />the northeasterly end thereof; D
<br />Street from Stafford Street to
<br />the northeasterly end thereof;
<br />and that certain ten foot ease-
<br />ment or right of way described
<br />In that certain deed from the
<br />Tacoma Mill Company, a corpo-
<br />ration, to the Town of Redwood
<br />City, dated the 17th day of March,
<br />1927, and of record in the Re-
<br />corder's office of the County of
<br />San Mateo, State of California, in
<br />Volume 286 of'Offfcial Records at
<br />page 311, to which said record
<br />reference is hereby made and
<br />the, same is made a part of this
<br />Resolution of Intention, be im-
<br />proved as follows, to -wit:
<br />By haying constructed thereon
<br />and thefefn vitrified saltglazed
<br />tile pipe sanitary sewers with
<br />red burnt brick manholes capped
<br />with cast iron frames and cov-
<br />ers and with lampholes capped
<br />with cast iron frames and covers
<br />and with wyes and laterals all of
<br />the sizes, dimensions and mate-
<br />rials and -in the positions and lo-
<br />cations as shown and described
<br />on the plans, profiles and speci-
<br />fications hereinafter referred to
<br />herein; and also that a compres-
<br />sor house nine feet by twelve
<br />feet with cement concrete floor
<br />And walls of pressed tile and
<br />composition, roof be constructed
<br />In the ten -foot easement herein-
<br />before mentioned at the north-
<br />easterly end of Rogers Street, all
<br />as—the—same are shown, de-
<br />scribed and located on the plans,
<br />profiles and specifications herein-
<br />after mentioned; and also that
<br />one ejector with a capacity of
<br />not less than' 100 gallons per
<br />minute against a total head of
<br />10 feet, together with one con-
<br />tinuous duty slow speed 40 de-
<br />gree motor of 3 horse power and
<br />suitable for alternating current
<br />220 volt 3 phase 60 ' cycles, with
<br />slide base, short leather belt pul-
<br />leys and .idler and one horizontal
<br />double acting air compressor,
<br />splash lubricated, water jacketed
<br />and capable of supplying suffi-
<br />cient air at requisite pressure to
<br />operate the ejector continuous -
<br />to -wit:
<br />ly under the conditions herein
<br />and in the plans, profiles and
<br />specifications herein mentioned
<br />described, with" starting- unloader
<br />and relief valve and with one
<br />air tank of black steel 3 feet
<br />6 inches in diameter and 8 feet
<br />long, tested to 100 pounds air
<br />pressure and supplied with a
<br />blow -off cock and pressure gauge,
<br />together with one complete set of
<br />starting devices, including ad-
<br />justable automatic pressure regu-
<br />lator to operate on a variation
<br />of not over 6 pounds pressure,
<br />self starter, main line switch, pro-
<br />tective devices all mounted on
<br />suitable slate panel and angle
<br />Iron frame, together with all PIP -
<br />Ing,. pipe connections, valves and
<br />fittings required for the com-
<br />plete operation of the herein men-
<br />tioned plant, together with the
<br />construction of a pit for the erec.
<br />tion of said ejector, all as shown
<br />and described and located and of
<br />the materials, sizes and dimen-
<br />sions as shown on the plans, pro-,
<br />files and specifications .herein.
<br />after particularly referred to here-
<br />in, said ejector pit an dsaid com-
<br />pressor house and equipment to
<br />be constructed in place in that
<br />certain ten foot easement here-
<br />inbefore mentioned and described
<br />and at the northeasterly end of
<br />Rogers Street.
<br />Whenever manholes or lamp -
<br />holes are to be constructed along
<br />the line of any sewer mentioned
<br />herein said manholes and lamp -
<br />holes shall be connected- with said
<br />sewer.
<br />Whenever any sewer is to be
<br />constructed as herein provided
<br />and there are manholes or lamp.
<br />holes existing along the line
<br />thereof said sewer is to be con-
<br />nected with said existing man-
<br />holes or lampholes.
<br />The width of the streets and
<br />right of way above described and
<br />the width of the roadways of said
<br />streets and the width of the side-
<br />walks of said streets are tQ be
<br />and are as shown on the plans,
<br />profiles and specifications here.
<br />inafter particularly referred to
<br />herein.
<br />That the official elevations for
<br />the street grades of said streets
<br />and portions thereof, crown
<br />grades, curb grades and grade
<br />elevations for top of gutters be
<br />changed and grades different
<br />from those established or adopted
<br />prior to the adoption by the
<br />Board of Trustees of .the Town
<br />of Redwood City of the plans,
<br />profiles and specifications here-
<br />inafter referred to herein shall
<br />be adopted, and such official and
<br />different and prior grades shall
<br />be modified and are hereby modf-
<br />ffed and changed so that the of-
<br />ficial grades shall be and con-
<br />form to the grades as shown on
<br />the plans, profiles and specifica-
<br />tions, for said work and Improve-
<br />ments, which plans, profiles and
<br />specifications were heretofore
<br />adopted by the Board of Trus-
<br />tees of the Town of Redwood City
<br />.on the 16th day of May, 1927, by
<br />"Resolution Adopting Plans, Pro -
<br />flies and Specifications No. J-7",
<br />which plans, profiles and specifi-
<br />cations are now on file in the
<br />office of the Clerk of said Town
<br />of Redwood City. All of the work
<br />and improvements herein de-
<br />scribed shall be done and made
<br />to such new official grades as
<br />shown on the plans, profiles and
<br />specifications hereinbefore men-
<br />tioned, to which plans, profiles
<br />and specifications reference in
<br />hereby made for a description of
<br />the grades at which said work
<br />Is to be done and said Improve-
<br />ments made and the same are
<br />made a part hereof.
<br />All the hereinbefore and here-
<br />inabove mentioned and described
<br />work and improvements are to
<br />be done in accordance with the
<br />special plans, profiles and speci-
<br />fications herein mentioned, which
<br />plans, profiles and specifications
<br />are now on file in the office of
<br />the Clerk of the Town of Red-
<br />wood City and to which plans,
<br />profiles and specifications refer-
<br />ence Is hereby made for an ac-
<br />curate, detailed and complete de-
<br />scription and location of said
<br />work and improvements and for
<br />further particulars and the same
<br />are made a part hereof.
<br />And the Board of Trustees of
<br />the Town of Redwood City does
<br />hereby determine and declare that
<br />the foregoing described work and
<br />Improvements are of more than
<br />local or ordinary public benefit
<br />and will affect and benefit the
<br />lands and district hereinafter
<br />mentioned, which said district is
<br />hereby declared to be the district
<br />benefited ;by said work and im-
<br />provements; that therefore the
<br />entire costs and expenses of said
<br />work and improvements shall be
<br />and are hereby made chargeable
<br />against and shall be assessed up-
<br />on- said lands and district, which
<br />district is within the limits of
<br />the Town of Redwood City, Coun-
<br />ty of San Mateo, State of Cali-
<br />fornia, and -the said district is
<br />described and shown upon a cer-
<br />tain map or plat entitled "Map
<br />Showing Assessment District un-
<br />der Resolution of Intention No.
<br />J-71% - which map or plat was
<br />approved by the Board of Trus-
<br />tees of said Town of Redwood
<br />City May 16th, 1927, and which
<br />map or plat is now on file in the
<br />office of the Clerk of the Town
<br />of Redwood City and to which
<br />map or plat reference is hereby
<br />made for an accurate location and
<br />description of said as"essmentdis-
<br />trict and the same is made a
<br />part hereof; provided, however,
<br />that all streets or portions there-
<br />of and right of way included
<br />within said assessment district
<br />and shown on the map thereof
<br />shall be excepted from any as-
<br />sessment levied for the costs and
<br />expenses of the work aforesaid,
<br />said streets or portions thereof
<br />and right of way now being in
<br />public use.
<br />And notice is hereby given that
<br />aerial bonds bearing interest at
<br />the rate of seven (7%) per cent.
<br />per annum from their date shall
<br />be Issued In the manner and
<br />form provided by law to repre.
<br />sent each assessment of twenty.
<br />five (i25) dollars or more for
<br />the costs and expenses of said
<br />work and improvements. Said
<br />bonds shall extend from their
<br />date over a period of four (4)
<br />years from the second day of
<br />January next succeeding the 15th
<br />of the next November following
<br />their date, as provided by the
<br />terms and provisions of the Im-
<br />provement Act of 1911 of the
<br />State of California, as amended
<br />and now in effect, and the herein
<br />proposed work shall be done and
<br />said bonds shall be Issued pur-
<br />suant to and in conformity with
<br />the provisions of said Improve-
<br />ment Act of 1911, as amended and
<br />now in effect.
<br />And notice is hereby given that
<br />Monday, the 6th day of June,
<br />1927, at the hour of 8 o'clock
<br />P. M. of said day, at the meeting
<br />place of the Board of Trustees
<br />of the Town of Redwood City, at
<br />the council chamber in the Town
<br />Hall on Webster Street in the
<br />Town of Redwood City, County
<br />of San Mateo, State of California,
<br />has been and is hereby fixed
