11 <br />Trustee Dearborn offers the following Resolution, Trustee McNulty seconds the <br />notion. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION. <br />Whipple Avenue extended southwesterly to the northwestetly line of Brewster Avenue is <br />hereby changed to Alameda de las Pulgas. <br />Section 4. The name of all that portion of Canyon Road Road extended from the <br />southeasterly line of Brewster Avenue to the southeasterly line of Oak Knoll Manor is <br />hereby changed to Alameda de las Pulgas. <br />I certify that the above and foregoing resolution was dt.7:yaddoptdd by the <br />Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a meeting thereof duly held on the <br />6th day.of June, 1927, by the following votes <br />Ayes and in fdvor of the passage of said resolution, Trustees <br />b <br />Z T Thorning, D R Stafford, G W McNulty, E It Dearborn <br />• Noes; None <br />Absent: None <br />x WITNESS my hand and seal of said city this 6th day of June, 1927. <br />W A Price <br />City Clerk. <br />Communication from the State Highway Commisdt= asking for a right -away for <br />the Bay,Shore highway through the Town of Redwood City, was on motion of Trustee Stat. <br />ford, seconded by Trustee McNulty, the matter be referred back to them, the actual right, <br />of way ,they needed through the City. Motion carried. <br />City Engineer Dimmitt preaent.ed to the Board a map of Dumbarton Acres, and on <br />Kra motidn of Trustee Stafford, seconded by Trustee McNulty, said map be approved and <br />accepted by the Board. Mo:rion carried. <br />Reports of the Chigf of Police, Building, Plumbing, Electrical Inspector, an@ <br />Poundmaster, was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Dearborn said report <br />be received and filed. Motion carried. <br />The following claims was passed on and O.Ke& by the Finance Committee, and on <br />d <br />motion,of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Dearborn and carried, the following <br />claims,be allowed and warrants drawned on the respectful funds for payment of same. <br />Motion.carried. <br />229 <br />U <br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City that whereas <br />the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo contemplates a proceeding under the <br />4cquisition and Im9rovement Act of 1925, for the widening and construction of a main <br />iighway to be known as Alameda de las Pulgas and which shall run from Belmont -Crystal <br />Springs road southerly, and on May 2, 1927, passed Ordinance No. 350 relating to the <br />Same; and whereas the said ordinance changed the names of certain streets as therein <br />Set forth, subject nevertheless to the approval of the Board of Trustees of the towns <br />Ln which,such streets were situated,- <br />, NOVI, THEREFORE, it is hereby ordered as follows: <br />Section 1. That said Ordinance No. 350 of said Board of Supervisors is <br />iereby approved. <br />Section 2. The name of Ashley Avenue, sometimes called Kellogg Lane, from <br />the center line of Cordilleras Creek to the southeasterly line of Whipple Avenue ex- <br />tended southwesterly is hereby changed to Alameda de las Pulgas, and the intersection <br />formed by the junction of said Ashley Avenue, Whipple Avenue, West Union Road and <br />r'oothill Boulevard shall hereafter be known as a portion of said Alameda de las Pulgas. <br />Section B. The name of Foothill Boulevard from the southeasterly line of <br />Whipple Avenue extended southwesterly to the northwestetly line of Brewster Avenue is <br />hereby changed to Alameda de las Pulgas. <br />Section 4.
