<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees Pres H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Thorning, D.R.Staf-
<br />ford, G.W.McNulty, E.M.Dearborn, City Clerk, W.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of meetings held June 6th, 13th, 1927, wqs on motion of Trustee McNulty,
<br />seconded by Trustee,Stafford said minutes be dispensed with until next regular meeting.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Stafford offers Ordinance No. (Location of bill boards and Bill Posting)
<br />and moves its introduction, Trustee McNulty seconds the motion. Motion carried,
<br />On motion of Trustee•.Stafford, seconded by Trustee McNulty, Haskins &. Sells be en-
<br />gaged to bring up the audit of the accounts of the City, March 15th, 1927.•, to end of th•)
<br />fiscal year, June 30th, 1927. Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee McNulty, seconded by TrusteeThorning, that the contract with Mr,
<br />James G. Stafford for appraisal of property in Redwood City, be continued in force into
<br />the next fiscal year.to give Iltr Stafford an opportulity to finish his work.Motion carried,
<br />Communication from the Redwood City Hardware Co, submitting to the Board a contract
<br />to supply the City with Mazda Lamps for the coming year, was on motion of Trustee McNulty,
<br />seconded by Trustee Dearborn, same be received and filed and be brought up at next meet-
<br />ing. Motion carried,
<br />Application and map of the Pacific Telephone d Telegraph Co. asking for permission
<br />to place on Stafford Street, two anchors for poles already installed, was on motion of
<br />Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Thorning, said permission be granted under Blue Pri:lt
<br />No.1654-�. also the Clerk be instructed to notify the Telephone Company, as said poles
<br />are situated in the street the will probably have to be removed in the near future.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Thorning$Vhe map of the James St -
<br />rest AdUtmnn be excepted and adopted by the Board in accordance with the Resolution
<br />printed on the map'. Motion carried.
<br />Communication from the Trustees of the Redwood City Grammar School district, in
<br />regards to the fee for building permit of the new grammar school, was on motion of Trus-
<br />tee Thorning,'seconded by Trustee Stafford, the Clerk write the Supt of Schools informin;
<br />him the Board goes on recorded, that the Contractor purcure a building permit and also
<br />pay the required fee. Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee Stafford the Seagrave fire engine
<br />§1, and the Schnerr fire engine be insured for full coverage fire and collision.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Dearborn offers the following Resolution. Trustee McNulty seconds the
<br />motion. Motion carried.
<br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo
<br />State of California,
<br />THAT WHEREAS, the County Surveyor of said County of San Mateo, has received from
<br />the City Engineer of the City and County of San Francisco a proposed form of ordinance
<br />granting to the Town of Redwood City the right to use certain portions of the Hetch-
<br />Hetchy aqueduct right of way in said Town of Redwood City, San Mateo County, State of
<br />California, for purpose of a public highway to be known as Alameda de las Pulgas, and
<br />WHEREAS, said City Engineer of said City and County requests an expression of
<br />approval by this Board of the proposed form of said Ordinance before said City Engineer
<br />transmits the same to the Board of Supervisors of said City and DAunty with his recom-
<br />mendation that it be passed:
