243 <br />1 <br />Reference is hereby made to each of the above maps and records thereof and the <br />same are hereby made a part hereof, which plans, profiles, detd'iled drawings and speci- <br />fications for the work, and improvements hereinbefore mentioned have been prepared by <br />the Town Engineer of the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California <br />and submitted and presented to the Board of Trustees of said Town this 20th day of <br />June, 1927, be and the same are hereby adopted as and for the pl4ns, profiles, detaileL <br />drawings and specifications for doing said work and making said improvements. <br />And whereas, the Town Engineer of said Town has submitted and filed with said <br />plans, profiles, detailed drawings, specifications and estimates a map or plat showing <br />the assessment district benefited by the work and improvements herein described, which <br />map or plat is entitled 11Map Showing Assessment District for the Construction of <br />Sanitary Sewers under Resolution of Intention No. J-1111; and <br />Whereas, said map showing said assessment district benefited by the work and <br />improvements herein described is satisfactory to said Board of Trustees. <br />Now therefore be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood <br />City that the map or -plat showing assessment district benefited by the work and im- <br />provements herein described and entitled"Map showing Assessment District for the Con- <br />struction of Sanitary Sewers under Resolution of Intention No. J-11" be and the same <br />is hereby approved and adopted by said Board of Trustees, and the Clerk of said Board <br />ie hereby ordered and driected to endorse such approval upon said map or plat, and <br />said Board of Trustees does hereby determine and declare that the foregoing described <br />work and improvements are of more than local or ordinary publich benefit and will affe <br />and benefit the lands and district shtivon upon the hereinbefore mentioned and described <br />map or plat entitled "Iffap Showing Assessment District for the Construction of Sanitary <br />Sewers under Resolution of Intention No J-1111, which district described and shown on <br />said map or plat said Board of Trustees hereby declares to be the district benefited <br />by said work and improvements, and said Board of Trustees further determines and de- <br />clares that the entire costs and expenses of said work and improvements shall be and. <br />are hereby made chargeable against and shall be assessed upon said lands and district, <br />which district is within the limits of the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, <br />State of California. <br />And be it further resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood <br />City that the elevations for the streets, avenues, ways, boulevards and courts or <br />portions thereof herein mentioned, crown gradea, curb grades and grade elevations <br />for top of guttefs and top of manholes shvron on the plans, profiles, detailed drawings <br />i and specifications adopted by this resolution be and the same are hereby established <br />and adopted as the official elevations and grades for the work and improvements here- <br />in described. <br />The base for the grades herein established is mean high water of the San <br />Francisco Bay, and the top of that certain granite monument marked "G.B." placed. in <br />that certain triangular piece of land in the Town of Redwood City, the propebty of <br />q said Town, and bounded by Main Street, formerly Mo-dn.d Street, Beech Street and the <br />JII <br />right of orgy of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company, which said monument is located: <br />in said piece of land at a point 5.5 feet easterly from a point in the easterly line <br />of Main Street, formerly Mound Street, which last mentioned point is 50.6 feet northerl,r <br />in said easterly line of Main Street, formerly Mond Street from the northerly line of <br />Beech Street, is hereby established and declared to be 18.4'6 feet above mean high water <br />of the San Francisco Bay. The elevations and grades shaven on the plans, profiles, <br />detailed drawings and specifications herein referred to and adopted by the Board of <br />Trustees of the Town of Redvrood City for doing the work and making the improvements <br />
