0 <br />Redwood City January 9th, 1928, 7.30 ofclock P.M. <br />Regular adjourn meeting of the City Council held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Councilmen Mayor H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Thorning, D.R.Staf- <br />ford, G.W.Stafford, G.,7.MeNulty, E.I.I.Dearborn, City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Moved by Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn minutes of previous meet- <br />ings be dispensed with until next regular meeting. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Thorning the Stewart S. Smith Co <br />being the lowest bidder the City award them the contract for a Elgin Motor driven street <br />1. <br />sweeping machine in the amount of $7500.00 named in their bid, and the certified check <br />be returned to the uncessful bidder. Motion carried. <br />On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn the Mayor and Clerk <br />be authorized to enter into contract with the Stewart S. Smith Cc for one Elgin Motor <br />`I driven street sweeper. Motion carried. <br />Application of D.A.Orr of Palo Alto for a Master Plumber license was on motion of <br />Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Stafford said permit be granted. Motion car- <br />ried. Motion carried. <br />Councilman McNulty offers the following Ordinance No. 276, and moves its adoption, <br />Councilman Dearborn, seconds the motion. The Town of Redwood <br />City Is hereby divided Into eight elec- <br />tion precincts, to be known as and des- <br />ignated as follows: Redwood City Mu- <br />nicipal Election Precinct No. 1, Red- <br />wood City Muni'clpal Election Precinct <br />No. 2, Redwood City Municipal Else. <br />tion Precinct No. 3, Redwood City .Tu- <br />nicipal Election Precinct No. 4, Red. <br />wood City .funicipal Elec- <br />tion Precinct No. 6, Red <br />wood City Municipal Election Precinct <br />No. 6, Redwood City Municipal Elea. <br />tion ,Precinct No. 7, and Redwood City <br />.Municipal <br />Election Precinct No. 8. <br />Section 2.
