<br />Moved by Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Thorning, reading of the/ilast meeting
<br />and this meeting be dispensed with until next regular meeting. Motion carried.
<br />Affidavit of Sam H. Winklebleek. in the matter of Publishing notice inviting sealed bids
<br />for the digging of a deep well was on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman
<br />Dearborn same be received and filed. Motion carried. �€
<br />The following and only bid received was publicly open examined and declared, to -wit:

<br />Moved by Councilman Dearborn, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the bid of E.J.Mattocks
<br />be rejected and certified check be returned, also new bids be called for said bids to be
<br />opened April 16th, 1928. Motion carried,
<br />Communication from the Redwood City Exchange Club asking the Councilmen for permission
<br />to change the electroliers on Broadway between the Railroad and the Highway, was on motion
<br />of Councilman Stafford seconded by Councilman McNulty said communication be received and
<br />filed. Motion carried,
<br />Communication from the South Redwood Improvement Club, calling the attention of the
<br />Council to the fact that the street lights on Orchard, Roble, and May Streets, have not beer
<br />installed as yet and asking the Council give this matter their prompt attention, was on motion
<br />of Councilman Dearborn, seconded by Councilman Stafford, same be received and filed.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman McNulty the sale of Lots 1 & 2,
<br />in Block No. 48, Eastern Addition, be laid over until next regular meeting April 16th, 192EIt
<br />Motion carried, • U
<br />On motion of Councilman Dearborn seconded by Councilman Stafford, Supt of Parks Hop-
<br />kins be authorized to take action in regards to the removal of the oak tree on Fulton St
<br />between Brewster and Hopkins Avenues. Motion carried.
<br />offers the following

<br />oilman McNulty seconds the motion. Motion carried.
