<br />Regular/meeting off the City Council held,
<br />Upon roll call there were present Councilmen, Mayor H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Thorning, D.R.Stafford,
<br />G.W.MoNulty, E.M.Dearborn, City Clerk W.A.Priee,
<br />seconded by Councilman Dearborn
<br />Moved by Councilman McNulty/minutes of April April 16th, 1928, be dispensed with until
<br />next regular meeting ImApt;C C&VUJ-
<br />on motion of Councilman Dearborn, seconded by Councilman McNulty the Western Well Works,
<br />Inc be awarded the contract for the deep water well at the price named in their bid in the
<br />sum of $16.80 per foot, and the certified checks to the unsueedsiul-bidders be returned,
<br />Motion carried,
<br />On motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Dearborn the bid of E.B:� Hil-
<br />ebrand for lots 1 and 2, in Block 48, Eastern Addition be r6jeeteci for reason the price offered
<br />was not enough and the certified check returned. Motion carried.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & electric Co for permission to set five poles on Kentfield.
<br />Road as per'Blue Print No.'1498-R, was on motion of Coun6ilman Thorning, seconded by Council. -
<br />.man McNulty, said permit be granted, Motion carried,
<br />Application of Frank Davidon for a Master:Plumbers license was on motion of Councilman
<br />McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn same be granted. Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn the City Attorney be
<br />instructed to write the Southern Pacific Railroad asking them to commence at once the build-
<br />ing of a parking space as comtempleted by them on the opposite side of the depot facing
<br />Broadway, Motion carried,
<br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Dearborn the deed to the City from
<br />D.R.Stafford and Isbelle Stafford for property for underpass be returned, Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Councilman Dearborn, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the City rent to the
<br />Town of,San Carlos the City street,sweeper•for two days a month at the rental of 035.00y pex
<br />k.° day. Motion carried,
<br />Application of Foster Klsiser for a permit to erect three signs, one at cor Main & Maple }
<br />Streets, another oto the Highway 250 feet south of Boicelli lane, also on lots No.4 &9 MerearT0
<br />tile tract Highway bet Woodside Road and Hazel Ave, was on motion of Councilman Stafford see-
