R. <br />Stafford, G.W.MeNulty, E.M.Dearborn, W.A.Priee, City Clerk, <br />Minutes of May 21st and 28th 1928, be approved as read on motion of Councilman Thor - <br />ping, seconded by Councilman Stafford and carried. <br />Communication from Mr A.M.Robtntson of Jefferson and Webster Streets protesting against <br />the the construction of a steam laundry at the corner of Jefferson Ave and Railroad Ave <br />was on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn same be received <br />and filed. Motion carried, <br />Application of Al Markgrafts Orchestra to hold dances in Foresters Hall on Saturday <br />evenings June 2, 99 160 23, and 30, 1928, until 1 o'clock, and Wednesday evenings June <br />60 139 20, and 27th, 1928, until 12 o'clock, was on motion of Councilman Thorning, sec- <br />onded by Councilman Stafford same be granted. Motion carried. <br />Councilman McNulty offers Ordinance No. 279, (An Ordinance establishing a City Plan- <br />ning Commission for the Town of Redwood City with membership. Powers and Duties as pro- <br />vided by State Law.) and moves its tfitgoduBtion, Councilman Thorning seconds the motion, <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman McNulty offers Ordinance No. 280, (An ordinance changing the names of cer•- <br />tain streets in the Town of Redwood City) and moves its introduction, Councilman Stafford <br />seconds the motion.
