R. <br />Stafford, G.W.MeNulty, E.M.Dearborn, W.A.Priee, City Clerk. <br />.Minutes of May 21st and 28th 1928, be approved as read on motion of Councilman Thor- <br />ning, seconded by Councilman Stafford and carried. <br />Communication from Mr A.M.Rob6ntson of Jefferson and Webster Streets protesting againot <br />the the construction of a steam laundry at the corner of Jefferson Ave and Railroad Ave <br />was on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn same be received <br />r <br />and filed. Motion carried. <br />Application of Al Markgrafts Orchestra to hold dances in Foresters Hall on Saturday <br />evenings June 2, 99 161 23, and 30, 1928, until 1 o'clock, and Wednesday evenings June <br />6, 13, 20, and 27th, 1928, until 12 o'clock, was on motion of Councilman Thorning, seo- <br />onded by Councilman Stafford same be granted. Motion carried, <br />Councilman McNulty offers Ordinance No. 279, (An Ordinance establishing a City Plan- <br />ping Commission for the Town of Redwood City with membership. Powers and Duties as <br />pro-vided by State Law.) and moves its IfItpoduution, Councilman Thorning seconds the motion, <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman McNulty offers Ordinance No. 280, (An ordinance changing the names of cer- <br />tain streets in the Town of Redwood City) and moves its introduction, Councilman Staffori. <br />seconds the motion.
