<br />Minutes of June 4th, and June 18th, 1928, were read, and on motion of Councilman ,Me-
<br />Nulty, seconded by Councilman Stafford said minutes be approved as read. Motion carried,
<br />On motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the City Attorney,'
<br />and the City Engineer prepare the necessary plans and speotfications for the
<br />improvements and the purchase of 25 acres on the Redwood•City water front,Mot7a-arrieApplication of Dave L. Walter, and Denny Main for a permission forethetera
<br />t Gasoline oil Station upon on Lot 19, Block 3, Dingee Park, corner of Brewster Ave and the
<br />Highway,,was on motion Cuuncilmam Stafford seconded by Councilman McNulty said applieat:.on
<br />be granted subject to the approval of the Building Inspeator, Motion carried,
<br />On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn, the Minton Lumber qo,
<br />{ be allowecl.to wiUi=draw their bid on the New Fire House on the account of a clerical
<br />error. Motion carried,
<br />Affidavit of John Isaac in the matter of Publishing notice inviting sealed proposals
<br />for the construction of a new fire house, was on motion of CouncilmanStafforcl, seconded
<br />by Councilman McNulty said affidavit be received and filed, Motion carried,

<br />publicly opened, examined and declared, to -wit:

<br />Motion carried,
<br />Application of.the Peninsula Paving Co, for an extension of 60 .days on the follow -
<br />Ing contracts under Resolutions No. J-12, No. J-13, and No. J-14, was on motion of Coun-
<br />oilman Dearborn seconded by Councilman McNulty said applications be grantecl,Motion carried.
<br />The following communication was received from Mr Ellis J. Arkush, and on motion.of
<br />Coundilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Dearborn and carried same be received and
<br />filed. to -wit:

<br />Honorable Sirs:
<br />It has been brought to my attention that a petition
<br />has been presented to your Board for the paving of George and Minnie Sts,
<br />As one of the principal property owners on both of these
<br />streets, I would like to protest against the opening of these streets at
<br />the present time as I do not feel that there is anything that would warrant
<br />this great expense at present.

<br />wood City Hospital, was on'motion of Councilman Stafford, seoonded by Councilman Dearborn

<br />ter be taken up with the County Board of Supervisors by Chief of Police Collins.Motion c
