<br />Upon roll call there were present Councilmen, Mayor H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Thorning, D.R.

<br />Minutes of meeting held December 3rd, 1928, were..Vead" and on motion of Councilman
<br />Stafford seconded by Counct.lman Thorning, same be approved as read, Motion carried.
<br />Application of Howarel J. Canine to install a gasoline pump on the south west corner
<br />of Spring and Chestnut Streets,on lo.t B,Aumbarton Acres, was on motion of Councilman
<br />Stafford, seconded by Councilman Thorning application be received and filed, and permit
<br />be granted provided the pump be be installed inside of the property line.Motion carried.
<br />Communication from Dr Francis J.. Gruss in regards to starting a Yacht Club on property
<br />;situated on the water front, to be voted on by bond issue, was on motion of Council
<br />Thorning seconded by Councilman Stafford the clerk write Mr•Gruss that preparation will

<br />.be made providing the property is purchased. Motion carried.
<br />Communication from the Redwood City Harbor Company, regarding option on land on the,
<br />:water front, was on motion of Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Stafford said
<br />communication be received and filed, and the clerk answer the receiving of same.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Application.of the Palo Alto Junk Yard for license to buy junk in Redwood City, was
<br />,on motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Thorning, said -permit be grantee.

<br />Application pf the Pacific Gas & Electric Co, for a permit to set a guy stub and in-
<br />stall an anchor on-w/S on lowell St, also permit to set poles on Lincoln and Clinton Sts
<br />in accordance to Blue prints No, 1579-R, and 1580-R „ was on motion Councilman Stafford
<br />seconded by Councilman Thorning, said permits be granted. Motion carried.
<br />Moved -by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Stafford the City Engineer
<br />prepare plans and specifications for the raising of the wall and also a new "roof for the
<br />old resevior. Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Stafford the contract for
<br />street lamps be awarded to Hull Bros, Ine,gor the year of 1929.is1othe_iamounte5f $900.00,
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Affidavit of Jas D. Hedge in the matter of Publishing notice to bidders for a deep

<br />affidavit be received and filed. Motion carried.
