1 <br />0 <br />0 <br />I <br />M <br />office of the County of San Mateo, State of California, in Map <br />Book 7, at page 34, produced southeasterly across said County <br />Road; thence northwesterly along, the production of said southwest- <br />erly line of said Valota Park and along the southwesterly line of <br />said Valota Park northwesterly to the southeasterly limits of the <br />Town of Redwood City; thence northeasterly along the southeasterly <br />limits of the Torn of Redwood City to the westerly line of the <br />County Road leading from Redwood City to Woodside; thence north- <br />erly along the said westerly line of said County Road leading from <br />Redwood City to Woodside to the northeasterly line of the El Camino <br />O <br />Real, or State Highway, and the Point of beginning; said herein- <br />before described territory being contiguous to the limits of the <br />Town of Redwood City and being commonly known as "The Five Points <br />District", the Board of Trustees proceeded to canvas said returns <br />in public by opening the returns and examining the vote case thereat,' <br />whereupon it was found, and the Board of Trustees of the Town of <br />Redwood City hereby declares, that the total vote cast at said <br />special annexation election was seventy-eight (78). <br />That the number of ballots marked YES and in favor of <br />the annexation of the hereinbefore described territory to the Town <br />of Redwood City was fifty-seven (57), and that the number of bal- <br />lots marked NO and against the annexation of the hereinbefore <br />described territory to the Town of Redwood City was twenty-one (21). <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty <br />, seconded by Trustee <br />Thorning , said annexation election was declared car - <br />ried, and the hereinbefore described territory was declared to be <br />annexed to and made a part of the Town of Redwood City, in the <br />County of San ;Mateo, State of California, by the following vote: <br />AYES, Trustees, <br />Z.T.THORNING , <br />NOES, Trustees, <br />NONE , <br />G.W.MeNULTY„ E.M.DEARBORN, H.A.BEEGER , <br />, <br />ABSENT, Trustees, A.E.MONTEITH , <br />2. <br />i <br />Trustee Thorning offers Ordinance No. 262, (Confirming and approving Annexation of <br />Five Points District) and moves its Introduction,Trustee McNulty seconds the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Dearborn, seconded by Truwbeel�,Thorning we do now adjourn to <br />June 28th, 1926, at 8 O'clock, P.M. <br />b <br />W.
