<br />t. 1:
<br />AN ORDINANCE RF.CLASSIV7FJ;-
<br />CERTAIN PROPERTY IN. THE
<br />OWN OF REDWOOD CITY FROM '
<br />THE SECOND RESIDENTIAL DIS-
<br />TRICT TO THE BUSINESS DIS;
<br />TRICT.
<br />WHEREAS, the Hoard of Trustees
<br />of the Town of Redivood City did, In
<br />January, 1924, agree to reclassify the
<br />hereinafter described real property in
<br />the Town of Redwood City from the
<br />s' second residential distinct to the K of
<br />x Hess district. under Ordinance No. 251 of
<br />said Town upon, a petition duly pre-
<br />sented to said Board of Trustees; and
<br />WHEREAS, said hereinafter describ-
<br />ed real property was never.reclasel-
<br />fled under said Ordinance although a
<br />business building was erected thereon
<br />upon a permit duty issued by said Town
<br />of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, the owner of said herein-
<br />after described real property_ has to -
<br />quested the council �of the Town of,
<br />Redwood City to reclassify said real
<br />property as hereinbefore agreed to be
<br />reclassified.
<br />THEREFORE, the Councils- of the
<br />Town of Redwood City does ordain as
<br />follows, to -wit:
<br />Section 1. The following described
<br />real property, to -wit:
<br />Begthning at a point where the
<br />southwesterly line of Clinton Street In-
<br />tersects the northwesterly line of Vora
<br />Avenue; thence southwesterly along
<br />said northwesterly line sof Vora Avenue
<br />54.74 feet; thence north 48° 21' West
<br />70 feet; thence North 221 17' East 27.50
<br />feet; thence North 41° 31' East 23.70
<br />feet; thence southeasterly along said
<br />southwesterly line of Clinton Street
<br />82 04 feet to the point of beginning, be 1
<br />reclassifled from the second residen-
<br />tial district to the.business district un-
<br />der Ordinance No, 251 of said Town of
<br />Redwood CRY,
<br />Section 2. The City Engineer of the
<br />Tawe of Redwood City Is hereby order-
<br />ed and directed to change the Use of
<br />Property Zone Map of said Town under
<br />' said Ordinance No. 251 in conformity
<br />with this Ordinance.
<br />Section S. Ordinance No. 251 herein
<br />referred to has heretofore been regu-
<br />larly introduced and adopted by the
<br />Board of Trustees of the Town of Red-
<br />wood City and is now on ftle in the
<br />office of the Clerk of said Town of Red-
<br />wood City and Is hereby expressly re-
<br />ferred to and shade a part of this O.
<br />dinance by reference. The Use of
<br />Property Zone Map herein referred to
<br />is of record in 'the Clork's office of the
<br />Town of Redwood City and is hereby
<br />referred to and made a part of this
<br />' drdinar-- by reference.

<br />of 7^- �'' City does hereby fix Mon -
<br />clay, tho "th day of January, 1929; at
<br />the hour of 7:30 o'clock P, 11. of said
<br />day, at the Council Chamber in the
<br />Town Halt on Webster Street in. said
<br />Town of Redwood City, County of San
<br />llatoo, State of California, as the time
<br />and place of the meeting of the Council
<br />of said Town for the final passage of
<br />this ,ordinance: at which time any and
<br />all persons, including the general pub-
<br />lic, having any objections to the pro-
<br />visions of this Ordinance may appear
<br />before sold Council for the purpose of
<br />stating their objections before the fin-
<br />al passage thereof
<br />Section 5. This Ordinance shall be
<br />published once in the Redwood City
<br />' Standard, a weekly newspaper pub,
<br />lished, printed and circulated In said
<br />Town of Redwood City_ and shall take
<br />effect and be In force from and after
<br />thirty days after Its passage.
