Benning, of the Redwood City firibune in the matter of Publish- <br />ing Notice of Filing unpaid Assessment hist and time fixed for hearing thereon under Res- <br />olution of Intention No. L-2, was on motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman <br />Dusel, said affidavit be received and filed. Motion carried. <br />Councilman McCarthy offers the following :resolution and moves its adoption. Council- <br />man Hildebrand seconds the motion. <br />AN ORDER PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF STRE311`IMPROVEMEN T <br />BONDS, PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATIONS OF SUCH BONDS <br />AND OF THE INTEREST COUPONS ATTACHED THERETO <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Redwood City, County of San mateo, State of Calif- <br />ornia, did, on the 4th day of February; 1929, pass its Resolution of Intention No. L-2 for �— <br />the improvement of portions of Broadway and Main Street in said City of Redwood City, under ; <br />and <br />pursuant to the provisions of <br />the "Improvement <br />Act of 1911" <br />and the amendments thereto, <br />and <br />to the "Improvement Bond Act <br />of 1915" and the <br />amendments <br />thereto, and to the resolutions, <br />notices and other proceedings of said Council duly adopted and taken, reference to said , <br />I <br />Resolution of Intention No. L-2 being hereby expressly made for a description of said work <br />J <br />and for further particulars; and ' <br />r <br />WHEREAS, the contract for said work and improvements was duly awarded and thereafter <br />duly completed to the satisfaction of the Street Superintendent and of said Council of said <br />City.of Redwood City, whereupon an assessment and warrant were made, recorded and delivered <br />to the contractor in time, form and manner as required by said acts, and the contractor hav- <br />ing made due return thereon, and the same having been duly recorded; and <br />WHEREAS', on the 27th day of September, 1929, the Street Superintendent of the City of E <br />Redwood City made and filed with the City Clerk of said City a complete list of all assess- <br />ments unpaid thereunder upon the respective assessment numbers thereon, whereupon said City <br />Clerk gave notico of the filing of said list and fixed in said notice I-donday, the 7th day of <br />1 <br />October, 1929, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. M. of said day, at the meting place of the <br />Council of the City of Redwood City, in the Council Chamber in the City tall on Webster <br />Street in said City, as the time and place when interested persons might appear before said <br />Council and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assess- <br />ments shown on said list, said time being that of this regular meeting of said Council; and <br />said Council having heard all objections and having passed upon the same, it is hereby de- <br />termined that the assessments unpaid thereunder and the aggregate amount of the same are as <br />follows: <br />Diagram & Diagram & Diagram & <br />Asst.
