<br />Affidavits of posting notice of improvement under Resolution of Intention
<br />M-1 were presented and upon motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by
<br />Councilman Hildebrant were ordered filed.
<br />Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman McNulty offered the following
<br />Resolution and moved its adoption:
<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK NO. M-1
<br />RESOLVED, THAT WHEREAS, the Council of the City of
<br />Redwood City did, on the 3rd day of March, 1930, pass and
<br />adopt Resolution of Intention No.M-1 to order the herein-
<br />after described work to be done and improvements to be made
<br />in said City of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolution of
<br />Intention No.M-1, headed "NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT", were duly
<br />and regularly posted along the line of said contemplated
<br />work and improvements and in front of all the property
<br />liable to be assessed therefor, and on all of the streets
<br />in the district to be assessed therefor, in time, form,
<br />manner and number as required by law, as appears from the
<br />affidavits of C.L.Dimmitt, Superintendent of Streets of the
<br />City of Redwood City, and Charles White and Fred Stickle,
<br />and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said City;
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS, it appears from the affidavits of said
<br />C.L.Dimmitt and Charles Alhite and lied Stickle, herein-
<br />before referred to herein, that the posting of said
<br />notices of improvement as aforesaid was completed on the
<br />24th day of March, 1930; and
<br />WHEREAS, in and by said Resolution of Intention No.
<br />M-1 and the notices of the passage thereof'posted as
<br />aforesaid, said Countil of the City of Redwood City fixed
<br />Monday, the 7th day of April, 1930, at the hour of 8:00
<br />o'clock P.M. of said day, at the meeting place of said
<br />Council, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall on Webster
<br />Street in said City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo,
<br />State of California, as the day, hour and place when and
<br />where any and all persons having any objections to the
<br />proposed work and improvements described in said Resolution
<br />of Intention No.M-1, or to the district to be assessed for
<br />said work and improvements, or to the'proposed grades at
<br />which said work and improvements are to be done and made,
<br />could appear before said Council and show cause why said
<br />proposed work and improvements should not be carried out in
<br />accordance with said Resolution of Intention No.M-1, or why
<br />said proposed work and improvements should not be carried
<br />out and done at the proposed grades as shown on the plans'
<br />profiles, detailed drawings and specifications referred to
<br />in said Resolution of Intention No.M-1 and now on file in the
<br />office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, at the day, hour and place aforesaid, when and
<br />where any and all persons having any objections to the pro-
<br />posed work -and improvements described in said Resolution of
<br />Intention No.PJi-1, or having any objections to the district
<br />to be assessed therefor, or having any objections to the
<br />proposed grades at which said work and improvements are to
<br />be done and made, could appear before the Council of said
<br />City of Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work
<br />and improvements should not be carried out in accordance
<br />with Resolution of Intention No.M-1, or why said proposed
<br />work and improvements should not becarried out and done at
<br />the proposed grades as shown on the plans, profiles, de-
<br />tailed drawings and specifications referred to in said
<br />Resolution of Intention No.M-1 and now on file in the
<br />office of -the Clerk of said City of Redwood City, no person
<br />or persons appeared and no objections of any kind were made
<br />against said work and improvements described in said Resolution
<br />of Intention No.M-1 or to the extent of the district to be
<br />assessed therefor, and said Louncil now having acquired
<br />jurisdiction to order said work and improvements:
<br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the public interest and
<br />convenience require the work and improvements herein described,
<br />and the Council of the City of Redwood City hereby orders the
<br />following work to be done and improvements to be made in said
<br />City of Redwood City, to -wit:
