<br />Upon motion of Councilman Hildebrant, seconded by Councilman McNulty affidavits of
<br />publication and Posting Notice of Improvement under Resolution of Intention M-2
<br />were ordered received and filed.
<br />Councilman McNulty seconded by Councilman Dusel offered the following resolution and
<br />moved its adoption:
<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK NO. M-2
<br />RESOLVED, THAT WHEREAS, the Council of the -City of Redwood City
<br />did, on the 17th day of March, 1930, pass"and adopt Resolution of In-
<br />tention No. 111-2 to order the hereinafter described work to be done and
<br />improvements to be made in said City of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention
<br />No. M-2, headed -"NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT", were duly and regularly posted
<br />along the line of said contemplated work and improvements and in front
<br />of all the property liable to be assessed therefor.. and ori all of*the
<br />streets in the district to be,assessed therefor, in time, form, manner
<br />and number as required by law, as appears from the affidavits of C. L.
<br />Dimmitt, Superintendent of Streets of the City of Redwood City, and
<br />Charles White and Fred Stickle, and now on file in the office of the
<br />Clerk of said City; and
<br />WHEREAS, it appears from the affidavits of said C. L. Dimmitt
<br />and Charles White and Fred Stickle, hereinbefore referred to herein,
<br />that the posting of said notices of improvement as aforesaid was com-
<br />pleted on the 24th day of March, 1930; and
<br />WHEREAS, in and by said Resolution of Intention No., M-2 and the
<br />notices of tle passage thereof posted as aforesaid, said Council of the
<br />City of Redwood City fixed Monday, -the 7th day of April, 1930, at the
<br />hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day, at the meeting place of said
<br />Council, in the Council Chamber it the City Hall on Webster Street in
<br />said City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California..
<br />as the day, hour and place when and where any and all persons having
<br />any objections to the proposed work and improvements described in said
<br />Resolution of Intention No. M -2, -or to the district to be assessed for
<br />said work and improvements, or to the proposed grades at which said
<br />work and improvements are to be done and made, could appear before said
<br />Council and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should
<br />not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of -Intention No.
<br />N-2, or why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried
<br />out and done at the proposed grades as shown on the plans, profiles,
<br />detailed drawings and specifications referred to -in said Resolution of
<br />intention No. M-2 and now on file in the office of the Clerk of the City
<br />of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, at the day, hour and place aforesaid, when and where
<br />any and all persona having any objections to the proposed work and im-
<br />provements described in said Resolution of Intention No. M-2, or having
<br />any objections to the proposed grades at*which said work and improvements
<br />are to be done and made., could appear before the Council of said City
<br />of Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and improvements
<br />should not be carried out in accordance with Resolution of Intention
<br />No. M-2, or why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried
<br />out anddone at the proposed grades as shown on the plans, profiles,
<br />detailed drawings and specifications referred to in said Resolution of
<br />Intention No. M-2 and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said City
<br />of Redwood City, no person or persons appeared and no objections of any
<br />kind were made against said work and imlr ovements described in said
<br />Resolution of Intention No. M-2 or to the extent of the district to be
<br />assessed therefor, and said Council now having acquired jurisdiction to
<br />order said work and improvements:
<br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the public interest and convenience
<br />require the work and improvements herein described, and the Council of
<br />the City of Redwood City hereby orders the following work to be done
<br />and improvements to be made in said City of Redwood City, to -wit:
