<br />as said plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications have been prepared
<br />by the City Engineer of said City of Redwood City, and submitted this 7th day of
<br />April; 1930, be and they are hereby adopted as and for the plans, profiles, de-
<br />tailed drawings and specifications for doing said work and making said improvements.
<br />Reference is hereby made to the patent license agreement of McEverlast,
<br />Incorporated, dated the 12th day of October, 1928, and now on file in the office
<br />of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City, and the same is made a part hereof.
<br />Reference is hereby made to the patent license agreement of Concrete
<br />Curing Inc. dated the 2nd day of December, 1929, and now on file in the office
<br />of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City, and the same is made a Ra rt hereof.
<br />Reference is hereby made to the patent license agreement of the Street
<br />Lighting and Equipment Company of California, dated March 1, 1930, and now on
<br />file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City, and the same is
<br />made a part hereof.
<br />AND WHEREAS, The City Engineer of the City of Redwood City has submitted
<br />and filed with said plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications a map
<br />or plat showing tle assessment district of lands benefited by the work and
<br />improvements herein described, which map or plat is entitled "Map Showing
<br />Assessment District under Resolution of Intention No. M-7.11
<br />AND WHEREAS, The map or plat showing said assessment district benefited
<br />by the vrork and improvements herein described has been examined by and is
<br />satisfactory to said Council.
<br />NOW THEREFORE, Be it further resolved by the Council of the City of
<br />Redwood City that the map or plat showing the assessment district benefited by
<br />the work and improvements herein described, which map or plat is entitled '
<br />"Map Showing the Assessment District under Resolution of Intention No. M-7",
<br />be and the same is hereby adopted and approved and said Council does hereby
<br />determine and declare that the foregoing described work and improvements are
<br />of more than local or ordinary public benefit and will affect and benefit the
<br />lands and district shown on the hereinbefore mentioned map or plat entitled
<br />"Map Showing Assessment District under Resolution of Intention No. M-7", 2hich
<br />district described and shown on said map or plat said Council hereby declares
<br />to be the district benefited by said work and improvements; and said Council
<br />further determines and declares that the entire -costs and expenses of said
<br />work and improvements shall be and are hereby made chargeable against and
<br />shall be assessed upon said lands and district shown on said map or plat
<br />herein mentioned, which district is within the'limits of ttLe City of Redwood
<br />City, County of San Mateo, State of California.
<br />AND BE IT FURTHER'RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Redwood City,
<br />that the official elevations for the street grades of said streets and avenues
<br />and alleys hereinbefore mentioned, crown grades, curb grades and grade
<br />elevations for top of gutters be changed and grades different from those
<br />established or adopted prior to the -adoption by the Council of said City of
<br />Redwood City of the plans, profiles,'detailed drawings,and specifications
<br />adopted by this resolution shall be adopted; and such official and different
<br />and prior grades shall be modified and are -hereby modified and changed so
<br />that the official grades shall be and conform to the grades as shown on
<br />said plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications adopted by this
<br />resolution, which plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications
<br />are now 'on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City.
<br />All of the work and improvements herein described shall be done and made to
<br />the new official grades as shown on said plans, profiles, detailed drawings
<br />and specifications adopted by,this resolution, to which plans, profiles,
<br />detailed drawings and specifications reference is hereby made for a
<br />description of the,grades at -which said work is to be'done and said
<br />improvements made and the same are made a part hereof. All grades between
<br />points as shown on said plans, profiles and detailed drawings shall be a
<br />straight line. All such grades and elevations herein established are in
<br />feet and decimals thereof above the City Base of the City of Redwood City.
<br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THE width of the streets, avenues
<br />and alleys herein mentioned and described,'and the width of the roadways of
<br />said streets, avenues and alleys; and the wideth of the sidewalks of
<br />said streets, avenues and'alleys,.are to be and are as shown upon the plans,
<br />profiles, detailed drawings and specifications adopted by this resolution.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a
<br />regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of April, 1930, by the following
<br />vote:
<br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution Council-
<br />men: W.J.Dusel, C.J.Hildebrant, P.A.McCarthy, G.W.McNulty, D.R.Stafford,
<br />Z.T.Thorning, H.A.Beeger.
<br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Council-
<br />men: NONE.
