220 <br />bonds as a whole and <br />also <br />upon the first maturing Forty-five Thousand <br />linear feet <br />($45,000) Dollars of <br />said <br />bonds. -pss�j n /eO/rym�s vote _ <br />�.-• <br />City Engineer made a report concerning the property affected by the work under Resolution <br />of Intention M-6 in which he stated the protestants did not represent a majority of <br />the property. Lisle Minter again spoke and appealed to the Boardto give them some <br />assistance in lowering the assessments, emphasizing that their protests were not that <br />the work should not be done but that the property which was affected by the paving <br />should be relieved of some of the burden. He was followed by D. L. Walter..and Fred <br />George. Finally, upon motion of Councilman Dusel, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, <br />the matter was continued until the next meeting and the Manager was instructed to <br />get in touch with the Cement Company and the Railroad Company in an effort to reduce <br />the cost of the improvement for the benefit of the property owners affected. <br />Affidavits of publication of notice inviting sealed proposals and.also of posting were <br />filed upon motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Beeger. <br />The following bids for work to be done under Resolution of Intention M-7 were opened. <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION M-7. <br />Bids received up to 7:30 P.M.
