<br />AND WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said resolution of intention_ No. M-5,
<br />headed °NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK°, were duly and regularly posted along the line of said
<br />contemplated work and improvements and in front of all the property liable to be
<br />assessed therefor in time, form, manner and number as required by law, as appears
<br />from the affidavits of C. L. Dimmi.tt, Street Superintendent of the City of Redwood
<br />City, and H. L. Winter, F. Stickel and S. K. Oakman, and now on file in the office of
<br />the Clerk of said City, and
<br />WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said resolution of intention No. M--5
<br />were duly and legally published as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of
<br />Lora M. Benning, now on file in the office of the Clerk of said City of Redwood City;
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS, within the time allowed by law when interested persons could object
<br />to said work and improvements, certain owners of property in the district to be
<br />assessed made written objections thereto, which objections were filed with the Clerk
<br />of said City of Redwood City; and
<br />71HEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City did, on the 2nd day of
<br />June, 1930, duly pass and adopt a resolution setting said protests and objections for
<br />hearing, as required by law, at the hour of 8:00 otclock P.M. of Monday, the 16th day
<br />of June, 1930, and
<br />WHEREAS, notices of the hearing of said protests were duly mailed to each
<br />protestant as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of B. E. Myers, Clerk
<br />of the City of Redwood City, and
<br />WHEREAS, this is the time for hearing said protests and objections,, and said
<br />Council did proceed to hear and fully consider all and each of said protests and
<br />objections, and after having fully considered the same: .
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of said City of Redwood City
<br />that said proteets and objections to the work and improvements described in resolution
<br />of intention No. 11-5 and each and all thereof be and the same is hereby overruled and
<br />denied.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of -Redwood City at a regular
<br />meeting thereof held on the 16th day of June, 19300 by the following vote:
<br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution, Councilmen:
<br />H.A.Beeger, W.J.Dusel, C.J.Hildebrant, E.B.Hinman, P.A.McCarthy, G.W.McNulty,
