<br />Affidavits of posting and publication for work under this resolution were ordered
<br />filed upon motion of Councilman Hinman, seconded by Councilman Beeger.
<br />Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dusel, offered the following resolution
<br />and moved its adoption:
<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK I40. M-9.
<br />RESOLVED, THAT WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City
<br />did, on the 16th day of June, 1930, pass and adopt Resolution of Inten-
<br />tion No. 11-9 to order the hereinafter described work to be done and
<br />improvements to be made in said City of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention
<br />No. M-9, headed "NOTICE OF IIvIPROVB%WT", were duly and regularly posted
<br />along the line of said contemplated work and improvements and in front
<br />of all the property liable to be assessed therefor, and on all of the
<br />streets in the district to be assessed therefor, in time, form, manner
<br />and number as required by lavr,"as appears from the affidavits of C.L.
<br />Dimmi.tt, Superintendent of Streets of the City of Redwood City, and
<br />Lyle Winter, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said City; and
<br />VHEREAS$ it appears from the affidavits of said C.L. Dimmitt and
<br />Lyle Winter, hereinbefore referred to herein, that the posting of said
<br />notices of improvement as aforesaid was completed on the 23rd day of
<br />June, 19309 and
<br />WHEREAS, in and by said Resolution of Intention No. M-9 and the
<br />notices of the passage thereof posted as aforesaid,.said Council of the
<br />City of Redwood City fixed Monday, the 7th day of July, 1930, at the
<br />hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day, at the meeting place of said
<br />Council;t. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall.on Webster Street in
<br />'said City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California,
<br />as the day, hour and place when and where any and all persons having
<br />any objections to the proposed work and improvements described in said
<br />Resolution of Intention No, M-9, or to the district to be assessed for
<br />said work and improvements, or to the proposed grades at which said
<br />work and improvements are to be done and made, could appear before said
<br />Council and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should'
<br />not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No.
<br />M-9, or why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried.
<br />out and done at the proposed grades as shown on the plans, profiles,
<br />detailed drawings and specificati ons referred to in said Resolution of
<br />Intention No. M-9 and now on file in the office of the Clerk of the
<br />City of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, at the day, hour and place aforesaid, when and where
<br />any and all persons having any objections to the proposod work and im-
<br />provements described in said Resolution of Intention No. M-9, or having
<br />any objections to the district to be assessed therefor, or having any
<br />objections to the proposed grades at which said work and improvements
<br />are to be done and made, could appear before the Council of said City
<br />of Redwood City and shout cause why said proposed work and improvements
<br />should not be carried out in accordance with Resolution of Intention
<br />No; 11-9, or why said proposed work and improvements should not be car-
<br />ried out and done at the proposed grades as shovm on the plans, profiles,
<br />detailed drawings and specifications referred to in said Resolution of
<br />Intention No. M-9 and nosy on file in the office of the Clerk of said
<br />City of Redwood City, no person or persons appeared and no objections
<br />of any kind were made against said work and improvements described in
<br />said Resolution of Intention No. M-9 or to the extent of the district
<br />to be assessed therefor or against the grades at which said work and
<br />improvements are to be done and made, and said Council now having acquired
<br />jurisdiction to order said work and improvements;
<br />THEREFORE RE IT RESOLVED thgt the public interest and convenience
<br />require the work and improvements herein described, and the Council of
<br />the City of Redwood City hereby orders the following work to be done
<br />and improvements to be made in said. City of Redwood City, to -wit:
