<br />Regular meeting of the City Council held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present, Councilmen AXsxAmaasmaragsr6 Z.T.Thorning, D.R.
<br />Stafford, G.W.MeNulty, E.M.Dearborn, City Clerk W.A.Price. Absent, Mayor H.A.Beeger.
<br />Minutes of meetings held February 4th and 7th, 1929, were read, and on motion of Coun-
<br />Gilman Dearborn seconded by Councilman Stafford, said minutes be approved as read, Motion
<br />carried.
<br />In the absence of Mayor Beegeerm Councilman McNulty, was appointed Mayor pro -tem.
<br />Moved by Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Thorning, the City donate the
<br />sum of 050.00 towards paiying for the trip of the Sbghoia Union High School to New York City.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Affidavit of Jas D. Hedge, in the matter of Publishing notice inviting sealed pro-
<br />posal for a new roof on the old reservior, was on motion of Councilman Thorning, seconded by
<br />Councilinan Dearborn said affidavit be received and filed. Motion carried.

<br />certified checks be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. Motion carried.
<br />Communication from the Planning Commission stating that the Commission recommend that the
<br />petition of Mr Treichel to build two houses on lot 23, in Block 21 on Katherine and Fulton
<br />Streets, be granted, was on motion of Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Dearborn
<br />said communication be received and filed. Motion carried.

<br />referred to Chairman of the Police Committee, Motion carried.
<br />Application of A.T.Nielson, 624 University Ave, Palo Alto, for a permit to install a
<br />gasoline service station on his property situated on the Northeasterly corner of Chestnut
<br />a
<br />and Spring Streets, was on motion of Councilman Dearborn, seconded by Councilman Thorning
<br />same be laid over until regular meeting March 4th, 1929. Motion carried,
