The Superintendent of Streets of the 'Town of Redwood City is hereby ordered and 47 <br />directed to post and cause to be published notices of the passage of this Resolution of <br />Intention in time, form, manner and number as required by law. <br /><.: The Redwood City Tribune, a daily -newspaper published, printed and circulated in <br />said Town of Redwood City, is hereby deaignated,:.as the newspaper in which to publish the <br />notice of the passage of this Resolution of Intention. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the Town of Redwood City at a regular meeting t <br />` thereof held on thel$th day of February, 1929, by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Councilmen: <br />Z.T.Thorning, D.R.Stafford, E.M.Dearborn, G.W.McNulty. <br />'l <br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Councilmen: <br />NONE. , , . <br />Absent, Councilmen, H.A.Beeger. , , <br />G. McNulty. <br />Mayor/of the Town of Redwood City <br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Stafford the Council offer three <br />prizes for the best essay on the subject of "The Benefit of a Municipal Harbor for Redwood <br />City" the first prize to be $25.00, recon prize to be $15.00, and the third prize $10.00 the <br />contest will be opened to any resident and school students of Redwood City, the essay to be <br />limited to 500 words and must be submitted on a good quality of writing paper letter size 82 <br />X 11 inches and typewritten on one side. the judge of said essay to be named by the Council <br />March 4th, 1929, essays to be sumiied.March 18th. 1929, Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Stafford the Clerk write Mr <br />W.G.Ebright, it is the desire of the Council that he put down a sidewalk in front of his pro- <br />perty facing Finger -Avenue, (lot 12, Block 5, Sub A. Wellesley Park) also said work to be <br />done within 30 days otherwise the City Council will advertise for bids and he will have to <br />pay the cost. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Dearborn the claims past on and <br />.t <br />O.ged by the Finance Committee be paid and warrants be drawn on the respectful funds for pay- <br />ment of same.
