e <br />other location in the City. <br />Councilman Eva inquired of the Council and also of the Chief of Police concerning the nature <br />of the entertainment or show at the Foresters Hall each Wednesday night, intimating that <br />he had been told it was undesirable., On motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by <br />Councilman Eva, the matter was referred to the Chief of Police to investigate. <br />In connection with the discussion concerning the parking facilities along Broadway and adjacent <br />streets near E1 Camino Real, the City Attorney, on motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded <br />by Councilman McCarthy, was instructed to ascertain the frontage valuations of the Southern <br />Pacific Company property. <br />On motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, the City Attorney was <br />instructed to prepare an ordinance amending previous ordinance and extending the tax <br />penalties as now existing, from December 5, 1935 to December 5, 1936. <br />The departmental reports were ordered filed. <br />The approved claims were ordered paid on motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Mayor <br />Lambert. <br />On motion of Councilman Jones, seconded by Mayor Lambert, the Council adjourned to meet again <br />Monday evening, October 14, at 7:30 P.m - <br />BEM: MR <br />0 <br />City Clerk / <br />155 <br />
