Therefore, it was finally decided to provisionally award the <br />contract to Mr. Sanders, with the understanding that confirmation of the <br />award would be subject to the conditions of that certain agreement be- <br />tween the City and the Southern Pacific Company and A. B. Cheatham. <br />Councilman Jones, seconded by Councilman Hohn} proposed that $100 be appropriated <br />from the unbudgeted reserve for the purpose of urgirg the citizens of <br />Redwood City to vote in the coming election, with the understanding that <br />such publicity must nbt discuss the merits of the question, but be non- <br />partisan. Motion carried, with Councilmen Christensen, Eva, and Pletcher <br />voting "No". <br />The approved claims were ordered paid, on motion of Councilman I&Nulty, seconded <br />by Councilman Hohn. <br />Adjournment. <br />-► <br />C ity C <br />
