Councilman Anderson.
In a letter to the Council, the Planning Commission recommended granting to Mr. G.
Schroder permission to subdivide Lots 4 and 22 in Block 9 of New High School
Acres, thus creating 2 lots each 40 feet by 120 feet. After considerable
discussion, permit was granted on motion of Councilman Jones, seconded by
Councilman Anderson, with the following Councilmen voting I'Noll: McCarthy,
McNulty, and Fletcher.
The City Planning Commission recommended to the Countil granting to Edwin C. Wild
permission to form 4 lots from Lots 15, 16, 17, 19, and 19, Block 18, of
Central Park No. 2. However, the Councilmen were not in favor of making
lots in this particular section of less width than 50 feet, and on motion
of Councilman Anderson, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, the application
was denied.
There was ordered filed affidavit of publication of Notice to Contractors for the
work on Valota Road. Following this, the City Manager submitted letter indi-
eating that there was but one bid for doing the work, that of W. 0. Tyson in
an estimated amount of $1,566.64. In view of the fact that the engineer's
estimate was $1,610 and that the work ought to start at once, the City
Manager recommended that Mr. Tyson be given the contract, and it was so ordered
on motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McNulty.
There was ordered filed affidavit of -Publication of Notice to Contractors for work
