AM <br />and Redwood City and by the next meeting would have some concrete suggestions for the consi— <br />deration of the Council in connection with business license matters. <br />The City Attorney reported on two meetings attended by him relative to 1915 Bond delinquencies and <br />after a general discussion the matter was laid over to be taken up after the 2nd of next July <br />when the Council would have accurate information,as to the amount of delinquencies in the var— <br />ious bond districts. <br />Councilman McCarthy brought up the matter of penalties on delinquent taxes and after a general dis— <br />cussion of the matter, on motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, the <br />City Manager, City Collector and City Attorney were requested to gather such information as <br />would be useful to the Council and present the same at the next meeting so that the Council <br />might determine what action, if any, to take regarding such penalties on deliquencies. <br />Mayor Lambert stated that Miss Pattison of Emerald Lake requested permission to use the Emerald Lake <br />Bowl for concert purposes and upon motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Jones, <br />such permission was granted. <br />Mayor Lambert also stated that Mr. Warren Allen of Stanford and Mrs. Armsby of Hillsborough were <br />now working out plans for the coming year for the Emerald Lake Bowl. <br />Councilman Christensen suggested a resolution reducing by 10% the salaries of all city employees <br />paid in excess of one hundred twenty—five dollars ($125.00) per month_ After a brief dis— <br />cussion, it was decided to continue such suggestion until the Council had discussed the budget <br />department by department. <br />Upon :notion of Councilman 14cNulty, seconded by Councilman Christensen, the claims presented were <br />approved and ordered paid. <br />Thereupon the Council proceeded to a discussion of the budget department by department and at 11:30 <br />o'clock p.m. on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Eva, adjourned to Wed— <br />nesday, June 20, 193+, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. to continue the budget matter. <br />BEM:UR <br />city <br />1 <br />C <br />u <br />i <br />
