AND WHEREAS, said City Engineer has submitted and filed with said

<br />Ing the assessment district of lands benefited by the work and improve-
<br />ments herein described, which map or plat is entitled °MAP SHOWING ASSESS-
<br />MENT DISTRICT UNDER RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1940-211.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
<br />Redwood City that the map or plat showing the assessment district benefit-
<br />ed by the work and improvements herein described, which map or plat is
<br />'i entitled 11MAP SHOWING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT UNDER RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
<br />NO. 1940-211 be and the same is hereby adopted and approved and said Council
<br />does hereby determine and declare that the foregoing described work and
<br />improvements are of more than local or ordinary public benefit and will
<br />affect and benefit the lands and district shown on the hereinbefore men-
<br />tioned map or plat, which district described and shown on said herein-
<br />before mentioned map or plat said Council hereby declares to be the dis-
<br />trict benefited by said work and improvements; and said Council further
<br />determines and declares that the entire costs and expenses of said work
<br />and improvements shall be assessed upon said lands and district shown
<br />on said map or plat herein mentioned, which district is within the limits
<br />of the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California.
<br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the width of Lexington Avenue from
<br />the end of the existing macadam pavement near the south termination of
<br />Arch Street to the end of the existing macadam pavement near the center
<br />line of Clinton Street hereinbefore mentioned, the width of the roadways
<br />thereof and the width of the sidewalks thereof are to be and are as shown
<br />i, on the plans, profiles and detailed drawings adopted by this resolution."
