(3) brick manholes with cast iron frames and covers be built along the
<br />line of said sewer, and also that fourteen (14-) four (4) inch vitrified
<br />salt glazed the pipe sewer laterals be. constructed along the line of
<br />T said sewer and extending from the main sewer, seven (7) on the north-
<br />r east side thereof and seven (7) on the southwest side thereof, to the
<br />northeast and southwest property lines of said Inner Circle all as shown
<br />on the plans for said sewer work.
<br />That aforesaid Inner Circle from the end of the existing macadam
<br />pavement near its intersection with Southgate, to the southeast termin-•
<br />ation thereof be graded for its full width and have constructed on both
<br />sides thereof combined cement concrete curbs and gutters; and also a
<br />four (4) inch stabilized slurry base pavement with.an asphaltic armor
<br />coat wearing surface.
<br />That the northeast and southwest sides of said Inner Circle have
<br />constructed thereon and therein cement concrete sidewalks four (4) inches
<br />thick and five (5) feet wide, said sidewalks to be laid upon a base or
<br />cushion of sand two (2) inches thick, excepting, however, any of said side-
<br />walk which is already constructed to the lines and grade shown on the plans."
<br />The City Engineer submitted appropriate plans and specifications for this
<br />work, and on motion of Councilman Werder, seconded by Councilman Christensen,
<br />there was adopted unanimously the following resolution.
<br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS, PROFILES, SPECIFICATIONS
<br />AND MAP OR PLAT OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 19+0-3
<br />"RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, County of San
<br />Mateo, State of California, that the plans, profiles, detailed drawings
<br />and specifications for doing the following work and making the following
<br />improvements in the City of Redwood City, to -wit:
<br />That Inner Circle from the northwesterly curb line of its intersection
<br />with Southgate to its termination at the southeasterly line of Oak Knoll
<br />Manor, as same is shown on that certain map entitled 'Oak Knoll Manor, Red-
<br />wood City, San Mateo County, Cal.° filed May 10th, 1916, in Volume 10 of
<br />Maps, pages 4 to 11 in the Recorder's office, San Mateo County, State of
<br />California, be improved as follows, to -wit:
<br />That a six (6) inch vitirified salt glazed tile pipe sewer be con-
<br />structed along said Inner Circle and its intersection with Southgate from
<br />the existing sewer near the northwesterly curb line of said intersection
<br />southeasterly for a distance of 430 feet, and also that three (3) brick
<br />manholes with cast iron frames and covers be built along the line of said
<br />sewer, and also that fourteen (14) four (4) inch vitrified salt glazed tile
<br />pipe sewer laterals be constructed along the line of said sewer and extend -
<br />in from the main sewer, seven (7) on the northeast side thereof and seven
<br />M on the southwest side thereof, to the northeast and southwest property
<br />lines of said Inner Circle all as shown on the plans for said sewer work.
<br />That aforesaid Inner Circle from the end of the existing macadam pave-
<br />ment near its intersection t, rith.Southgate, to the southeast termination
<br />thereof be graded for its full width and have constructed on both sides
<br />thereof combined cement concrete curbs and gutters; and also a four (4)
<br />inch stabilized slurry base pavement with an asphaltic armor coat wearing
<br />surface.
<br />That the northeast and southwest sides of said Inner Circle have con-
<br />structed thereon and therein cement concrete sidewalks four (4) inches
<br />thick and five (5) feet wide, said sidewalks to be laid upon a base or cushion
<br />of sand two (2) inches thick, excepting, however, any of said sidewalk which
<br />is already constructed to the lines and grade shown on the plans, as pre-
<br />pared by C. L. Dimmitt, City Engineer of said City of Redwood City and sub-
<br />mitted this 17th day of June, 1940, be and the same are hereby adopted as
<br />and for the plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications for said
<br />work and improvements described herein.
<br />AND WHEREAS, said City Engineer has submitted and filed with said plans,
<br />,) profiles, detailed drawings and specifications, a map or plat showing the
<br />assessment district of lands benefited by the work and improvements herein
