<br />plant in order to stair within the $300,000 and there will be no funds for
<br />yhe relief seders which are necessary in order to get sewage to the plant
<br />The estimated additional cost of $$150,000, as set forth in the resolution, P

<br />moved, seconded by Councilman Granger, adoption of resolution urging the

<br />:"IHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ha.s been advised by the Depart-
<br />ment of Public He,-Ith of the State of California that immediate steps
<br />must be taken upon the terminction of the present nCtiona,l emera,ency
<br />to provide adequate pec:^ae treatment fccilities in order to eliminate
<br />the present practice of dumping rate sew-ge in San Francisco Bay, and
<br />1.1MEREAS, the people of Redwood City hnvp approved the issuance
<br />of bonds in the amount of $300,000 for the construction of a sewage
<br />treatment plant and intercepting sewers, and
<br />WFEREAS, cost estim^tes prepared by competent consulting engineers
<br />now enFrared in the designing of said setrage treat-^.ent plant indicate
