128 <br />RESOLUTION No. 672 <br />-ACCEPTING-DEED FROM JEAN PIERRE URRERE <br />RESOLVED, that a quit claim deed of real property from JEAN PIERRE URRERE to <br />the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY be, and it hereby is, accepted by and on behalf of the <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY. <br />Such deed conveys all that real property situated in the City of Redwood City, <br />County of San Mateo, State of California, described`as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a point in the easterly property line of Walnut Street, <br />said line being also the westerly line of Lotl, Block 16, of Sweeney <br />Addition, as shown on the map thereof of record in the Recorder's office <br />of the County of San Mateo, State of California, in Book 11011 of Maps at <br />page 39, filed for record July 17, 1896, Records of San Mateo County, <br />State of California, said point being 18.23 feet southerly from the <br />intersection of the said easterly property line of Walnut Street and' <br />the southerly property line of Spring Street; thence running on a 10.0 <br />foot radius curve to the right a distance -of 21.38 feet to a point in, <br />the said southerly property line of Spring Street; thence North 610 00' <br />West 18.23 feet to'the intersection of said property lines; thence South <br />030 30' East 18.23 feet to the point of beginning. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at an adjourned <br />meeting thereof held on the 14th day of February, 1949, by the following vote; <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER,.HOLMQUIST, SPILLERS, SWIFT, and Mayor WERDER. <br />NOES, Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: MORGAN <br />ATTEST: <br />RALPH S. WERDER <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />COUNCILMAN HOLMQUIST MOVED INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCE CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION for the <br />purpose.of submitting to the electors a proposition of incurring a bonded indebted- <br />ness of $150,000 for acquisition, construction and completion of a Sewage Treatment <br />Plant; fixing the date of said election, manner of holding same, establishing <br />election precincts, appointing boards of election thereof and providing notice <br />thereof. Motion seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried, Councilman Morgan <br />noted absent. <br />CITY CLERK CALLED THE ROLL TO ASCERTAIN COUNCILMEN WHO WOULD ATTEND .THE LEAGUE OF Calif- <br />ornia meeting at Los Gatos, Thursday, February 17th. <br />REX BENHAM WAS ADVISED by the Mayor that a letter he had prepared and delivered to the <br />City Manager had not as yet received attention but would be studied in the near <br />future. <br />ON MOTION OF Councilmen Spillers, seconded by Councilman Holmquist, the meeting was <br />adjourned to 9:00 P.M. <br />ADJOURNED MEETING <br />9:00 P.M. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was <br />regularly adjourned. <br />I� <br />RALPH S.
