The Clerk of the City of Redwood City is hereby ordered and directed to post a notice con- spicuously for five (5) days on or near the Council Chamber door of theCouneil of said City of Redwood City, inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work andmaking the improvements ordered herein. Said City Clerk is also ordered and directed to publish a notice inviting saidi sealed proposals or bids for the 1priod.required by law in the Redwood City 'Tribune, a daily (except Sunday) newspaper of general circulation published, printed and circulated in the City of Redwood City, and hereby designated for that purpose by the Council of said Cityl Said notice shall refer ' to the plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications on file in the office of the City Clerk for a detailed description of the work to be done. RES 0L.UTI ON - N0. 716 RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE KENSINGTON SQUARE NO. 1 1949-2 WHEREAS the City Engineer of the City of Redwood City has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said public Mork is proposed to be performed for work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention No.707, adopted May 20 1949 by the City Council of the City of Redwood City; -and WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the specifications for said project, copies of which are on file in,the office of said City Engineer and -also in -the office of the City Clerk of said City: and WHEREAS the City Council of Redwood City has duly considered said scale and finds the same to be correct in all particulars; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City as follows: 1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications for the above-mentioned project is hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to that above described in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be performed. 2. That not less than said general prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be paid for Any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention No.707.
