Councilmen Britschgi and Warder noted absent. <br />RES 0L.UTI ON - N0. 716 <br />RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE <br />KENSINGTON SQUARE NO. 1 1949-2 <br />WHEREAS the City Engineer of the City of Redwood City has ascertained the general prevailing <br />rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said public Mork is proposed to be performed for <br />work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention No.707, adopted May 20 <br />1949 by the City Council of the City of Redwood City; -and <br />WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the specifications for <br />said project, copies of which are on file in,the office of said City Engineer and -also in -the <br />office of the City Clerk of said City: and <br />WHEREAS the City Council of Redwood City has duly considered said scale and finds the same <br />to be correct in all particulars; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City as follows: <br />1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications for the above-mentioned project <br />is hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to <br />that above described in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be performed. <br />2.
