338 , <br />For further particulars as to the work and improvements herein ordered to be done and for a descrip— <br />tion of the area proposed to be assessed for said work and improvements, reference is hereby made <br />to Resiolution of Intention No -784 of said Council, passed and adopted on <br />FURTHER RESOLVED, that the work and improvements hereinabove described shall be done under the <br />direction of the City Engineer of said City of Redwood Lity, and that materials used therein shall <br />comply with the specifications heretofore adopted; and that the assessments to be made in said pro— <br />ceedings shall'ba made and signed by said City Engineer. <br />The Clerk of the City of Redwood City is hereby ordered and directed to post a notice conspic— <br />uously for five (5) days on or near the Council Chamber door of the Council of said City of Redwood <br />City, inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work and making the improvements ordered herein. <br />Said City Clerk is also ordered and directed to publish a notice inviting said sealed proposals or <br />bids for the period required by law in the Redwood `'ity Tribune, a daily (except Sundap) newspaper <br />of general cirdulation,published, printed and circulated in the City of Redwoo4ity, and hereby desig— <br />nated for that purpose by the Council of said City. Councilmen'Spillers <br />and Swift noted absent. <br />RES.OLUT I ON N 0. 795 <br />RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE — LENOLT <br />WHEREAS the City Engineer of the City of Redwood City has ascertained the general prevailing rate <br />of per diem wages in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be performed for work of a <br />similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention No. 784, adopted September 26, 1949 by- <br />the <br />ythe City Council of the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS'tdid rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the specifications for said <br />project, copies of which ire on file in the office of.said City i'ngineer and also in the office of <br />the City Clerk of said City; and <br />WHEREAS the City Council of Redwood City has duly considered said scale and finds the same to <br />be correct in all particulars; T <br />NCIH, THEREFQiE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood bity as follows: <br />1.. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications for the above—mentioned project is <br />hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to that above <br />described in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be performed. <br />2.
