Mayor Britschgi noted absent. , RES OLUTION No, 947 RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE IVHIPPLE AVENUE i WIEREAS the City Engineer of Redwood City has ascertained the general prevail- ing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said public vork is proposed to i be performed for work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention No. 946, adopted August 21, 1950, by the Council of Redwood City; and WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the speci- fications for said project, copies of which are on file in the office of said Engin- eer and also in, the office of the Clerk of said City; and Wh'EREAS the Council of Redwood City has duly considered said scale and finds the same to be correct in all particulars; NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of Redwood City resolves as follows: 1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications for the above- mentioned project is hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to that above described in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be performed. 2. That no less than said general. prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention No. 946. Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 21st day of August, 1950, by the following vote: AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution, Councilmen: GRANGER, HERKNER, JONES, MORGAN; ROPER & SPILLERS.
