GRANGER <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />Pro Tem <br />RESOLUTION 947 FIXING MINIMUM VSAGE SCALE, V+IIIPPLE AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS. Councilman Morgan <br />offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried on <br />i <br />roll Dell. Mayor Britschgi noted absent. , <br />RES OLUTION No, 947 <br />RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE <br />IVHIPPLE AVENUE <br />i <br />WIEREAS the City Engineer of Redwood City has ascertained the general prevail- <br />ing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said public vork is proposed to <br />i be performed for work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of <br />Intention No. 946, adopted August 21, 1950, by the Council of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the speci- <br />fications for said project, copies of which are on file in the office of said Engin- <br />eer and also in, the office of the Clerk of said City; and <br />Wh'EREAS the Council of Redwood City has duly considered said scale and finds <br />the same to be correct in all particulars; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of Redwood City resolves as follows: <br />1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications for the above- <br />mentioned project is hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for <br />work of a similar character to that above described in the locality in which said <br />public work is proposed to be performed. <br />2. That no less than said general. prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be <br />paid for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention No. 946. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof, held on the 21st day of August, 1950, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution, <br />Councilmen: GRANGER, HERKNER, JONES, MORGAN; ROPER & SPILLERS. <br />NOES, <br />ABSENT, <br />ATTEST: <br />Councilmen: <br />Councilmen: <br />NONE <br />BRITSCHGI. <br />RALPH S.
