GRANGER <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />Pro Tem <br />RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $100 FROM UNBUDGETED RESERVE TO EMERGENCY COMMUNICATION FUND, <br />DISASTER PREPAREDNESS was offered by Councilman Morgan, seconded by Councilman <br />Spillers. Question of how far 4100 would go was discussed. Mayor Pro -Tem Granger <br />explained this would go toward equipment for installation of radio for amateur oper- <br />ators in private automobiles. Other communities. were mentioned but it was not <br />knovn at this time what other cities had accomplished in this respect. Councilman <br />Herkner moved this be carried on the agenda for further study. Lettersof author- <br />ization were to be sent to John Hecomovich Amateur Emergency Coordinator, 527 <br />North Delaware Street, San IvIateo, California. <br />RESOLUTION 950 OF INTENTION TO ABANDi.N EASEMENTS IN LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 3, REDWOOD INDUS- <br />TRIAL TRACT NO. 1, SUBD OF POR OF LOT 1•, MAP OF SUB OF SWEENEY RANCH, setting date <br />for.hearing on Monday, September 18th, was offered by Councilman Spillers, seconded <br />by Councilman Royer. Request was from J. Territo through title company. It <br />seemed the Council approved this at an earlier date for poles on Broadway, but a <br />resolution was not adopted. A 251 easement was provided at rear of power lines on <br />map recorded in 1946 or 1947. On roll call motion carried Councilman Herkner <br />voting No and Councilman Jones passed his vote. Mayor Britschgi noted absent. To <br />be considered at study meeting Thursday, August, 24th. <br />R E S O L U T I O N No. 950 <br />RESOLUTION OF INTEITTION TO VACATED AND <br />ABANDON CERTAIN PUBLIC EASEMENTS IN <br />LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 31 REDVd00D INDUSTRIAL <br />TRACT IN THE CITY OF REDV OOD CITY. <br />RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City as follov7s: <br />1- Said Council hereby declares its intention to vacate and abandon as public <br />easements certain easements in Lots 1 and 2.
