ADDING POSITION OF ASSISTANT WATER St'PERINTENDENT AND AMENDING ORDINANCE 603 147 <br />ORDINANCE ' <br />{'SALARx ORDINANCE 1950-51. Affidavit of publication was ordered filed by the Mayor. <br />ORDINANCE <br />653 ADDING POSITION OF ASSISTANT WATER SUPERINTENDENT AND AMENDING ORDINANCE <br />603 °SALARY ORDINANCE 1950-51'x, was moved for adoption by Councilman Granger, seconded <br />by Council;'an Morgan and carried on roll call. Councilman Spillers noted absent. <br />ORDINANCE FIXING TAX RATE 1950-51. Affidavit of publication was ordered filed by the Mayor. <br />ORDINANCE 654 FIXING TAX RATE 1950-51 was moved for adoption by Councilman Herkner, sec- <br />r <br />onded by Councih.'ian Royer and carried on roll call. Councilman Spillers noted absent. <br />ORDINANCE 600.15 AMENDING ORDINANCE 600 (ZONING) , PROFESSIONAL OFFICES IN R DISTRICT WITH- <br />IN 1001 OF A C OR M DISTRICT. Councilman Royer moved adoption of ordinance, seconded <br />by Councilman Jones. There was discussion on this and some objection. The amendment <br />was proposed in order to act as a buffer strip between the C & M and R Districts. <br />Motion carried on roll call, Councilmen Herkner and Morgan voting No. Councilman <br />Spillers noted absent. <br />FCRTHR;R CONSIDERATION POLICY FOR REFUISDS WATER I,7AIN INSTALLATIONS SUBDIVISIONS. It was re- <br />quested this be held over for the next regular meeting. <br />RRTHER CONSIDERATION CALIFORNIA MISSION TRAILS ASSOCIATION REQUEST FOR APPROPRIATION. This <br />was an advertising matter and no recommendation had been received by the Chamber of <br />Comm7rce that an amount be included in the budget for this purpose and the budget had <br />been passed upon. It was therefore moved by Councilman Morgan that request be denied, <br />a letter of explanation to be written to the Mission Trails Association, seconded by <br />Counciln.an Jonesand carried. <br />FARTHER CONSIDERATION REQUEST FOR $100 TO SET U'' FUND FOR EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS in con- <br />junction with Disaster Relief program. Councilman Morgan moved denial of request, <br />E <br />i seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. Menlo Parr had considered an appropria- <br />tion of $100 for such an emergency. Councilman Granger stated the State was looking <br />to the County for a coordinating plan and if the County should make a recommendation <br />later this could be reconsidered. <br />CGHNUATION. OF ALL BATTERS RELATING TO BROADWAY -MARSHALL STREET AND VICINITY IMPROVEMENTS. <br />G <br />P. Report was to be made at this time -by the following committee which had been appointed <br />by the Mayor on August 28th, Attorneys Flagstaff, Black, uuido, 11tilson, City Engineer <br />tJain, Frost & Brian and 5 property owners to be selected by the balance of the Com- <br />mittee. Report was placed on agenda for the next regular meeting. <br />ALTORNE`I WAGSTAFF REQUEST FOR CONTINUATION' SPYROS SKLIROS APPLICATION FOR TAXICAP CERTIFI- <br />CATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY. Placed on agenda for two weeks, October <br />18th, on motion of Councilman Morgan, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. <br />PLANNING COi",v,ISSION RECONL;.ENDED APPROVAL OF APPLICATION JOHN GREDARIDIS TO RESUBDIVIDE LOT <br />5, BLOCK 8, OAK KNOLL MANOR (130 Inner Circle) into 2 lots as indicated on attached map <br />Councilan Royer moved approval of recommendation, seconded by Morganan and <br />carried. <br />PLANNING CO!'D,FISSION RECOIU,�ENDATION DENIAL OF PETITION, DR H. PEPPER FOR VARIANCE IN REAR <br />YARD RNQUIREIIiE;NTS AT 953 EDGEWOOD ROAD SO THAT HE COULD BUILD WITHIN 2 ft of the rear <br />Property line.
