gOLUTION 967 ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS IMPROVEMENTS, ESTABLISHING MINIMUM WAGE SCALES. <br />offered by Councilman Royer who moved adoption$ seconded by Councilman <br />1 Resolution <br />159 <br />a, <br />1;and carried on roll call. Councilmen Herkner, Morgan and Spillers noted absent. <br />hones RESOLUTION No. 967 <br />RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE.SCALE <br />{ ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS <br />WHEREAS the City Engineer of Redwood City has ascertained the general prevailing <br />rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be per. <br />formed for work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention <br />No. 966► adopted September 11, 1950 by the Council of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages Issetforth and contained in the specifica- <br />tionsfar said project, copies of which are on file in the office of said Egnineer and <br />also in the office of the Clerk of said City; and <br />WHEREAS the Council of Redwood City has duly considered said 'scale and finds'the <br />i same to be correct in all particulars; <br />Nowo THEREFORE: the Council of Redwood City resolves' as follows: <br />1� That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications for above-mentioned <br />project is hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a <br />similar character to that above described in the locality in which said,public work is <br />proposed to be performed. <br />2. That no -less than said general prevailing rate ofper diem wage shall be paid <br />for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention No. 966. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting <br />thereof, held on the filth day -of September, 1950, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in'favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution, <br />Councilmen:. GRANGER, JONES, ROYER, BRITSCEGI. <br />NOES, Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: HERKNER, MORGAN, SPILLERS <br />ATTEST: <br />RALPH S. Councilman Granger offered <br />resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Royer and edrried on roll call. <br />Councilmen Herkner, Morgan and Spillers noted absent. <br />RESOLUTION No. 968 <br />ORDERING CALL FOR BIDS <br />ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS <br />RESOLVED by the Council of Redwood City as follows: <br />I.'Zealed proposals or bids are hereby invited for doing all of the work described <br />In Resolution No. 966 adopted by said Council on September ll,r 1950, to -which resolution <br />reference is hereby made for further particulars. <br />The Clerk of Redwood City is hereby ordered and directed to post a notice con- <br />spiouousl for five (5) days on or near the Council Chamber door of the Council of Redwood <br />City, inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work and making the improvements de-' <br />"ribed in Resolution of Intention No. 966. <br />3. The Clerk of Redwood City is ordered and directed to publish a notice inviting <br />sealed proposals or bids for the work described in Resolution of. Intention No. 966. for <br />the period required by law, ' in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily (.except Sunday) news <br />paper of general circulation published printed and circulated in the City of Redwood <br />City and hereby designated for that purpose by the Council of said'City.
