' Councilman Granger moved that the matter of abatement of the Michel property <br />on Main Street be checked into and reported back to the Council at the next regular meeting. This property <br />was slated for abatement and an agreement had been signed by the Michels to tear''down the building at a <br />later date. Motion 'seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. <br />PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC CO. ESTIMATE COST TO REMOVE EQUIP?, 'NT ON JEFFERSON BETWEEN BROAD11AY and MARSHALL., <br />Councilman Granger moved this matter be placed on the agenda and a report be made at the next meting, <br />seconded by Councilman Jones and carried. <br />F4YERPURIFICATION. Councilman Jones asked that the Health Department be contacted regarding possibility of <br />carrying a supply of water purification tablets which are available on the surplus market at tape present <br />time. These tablets could be used by the public in case the public supply became contaminated and well <br />water would be substituted for the usual supply. So moved by Councilman. Granger, seconded by Councilman <br />Royer. Motion carried. <br />WOR BRITSCHGI STATED HE CONTEMPLATED THE APPOINT?'ANT OF A STRONG COMMITTEE TO STUDY OPERATIONS OF SOUTHERN <br />PACIFIC CO.
