successive weeks prior to the day fixed for hearing, in. the Redwood City Tribune, 19 <br />a newspaper printed, published and circulated in the City of Redwood City, the <br />municipal corporation to which it is proposed to annex the hereinbefore described <br />territory. <br />3. That at any time not later than the hour set for hearing objections to the <br />proposed annexation, any owner of property within the territory proposed to be <br />annexed may file written protest against the proposed annexation; that such protests <br />shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of the property affected thereby, <br />and the description and area of such property in general terms. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meet- <br />ing thereof, held on the 5th day of June, 1950, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution, <br />Councilmen: GRANGER, JONES, MORGAN, WERDER, and Mayor BRITSCHGI. <br />NOES, Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: ROYER and SPILLERS. <br />ATTEST: <br />J <br />RALPH S. BRITSCHGI <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED APPROVAL OF THE FINAL MAP OF ATHERWOOD DIVISION SUB- <br />JECT TO (1) approval of plans and specifications by City Engineer, (2) approval of <br />bond and agreement, (3) approval of drainage, (4) comply with all provisions of the <br />Subdivision Ordinance. Map was in order subject to bond for water system. Council- <br />man Werder moved that recommendation of the Planning Commission be approved subject <br />to conditions as set forth and Engineer Jain's approval, seconded by Councilman <br />Jones and carried. <br />RESTAURANT APPLICATIONS. FIVE POINTS OIL COMPANY; 2005 E1 Camino Real, to serve beer only; <br />and DELILAH J. HERINCK, owner A -P COFFEE SHOP, 749 E1 Camino Real, beer license �Pnd- <br />ing. A -P Coffee Shop was a transfer of ownership, both restaurants had been Inspected <br />by the four departments and approved by them. Councilman Werder moved approval of <br />permits, seconded by Councilman Morgan and carried. <br />RESIGNATIONS TO PLANNING COMMISSION BY Mr. Paul Jones and Joseph Territo, Secretary, were <br />not received in time for the last meeting. Councilman Werder moved that both be <br />accepted with'a letter of regret to Mr. Territo, seconded by Councilman Granger. Mr. <br />Jones had previously been appointed to the Council. <br />THE LIONS CLUB ASKED FOR THE 'COUNCILtS ENDORSEMENT OF THE NAVY BARGE FOR THE MEETING PLACE <br />OF THE BOY SCOUT TROOPS IN THE REDWOOD CITY AREA. They were endeavoring to secure <br />the barge and wished to have the support of the Council. Councilman Granger moved <br />that the City Clerk be authorized to address a. letter to Congressman Jack Anderson in <br />behalf of the Scouts, seconded by Councilman Werder and carried. <br />A LETTER FROM THE BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION TRADES COUNCIL ENDORSING THE REBER PLAN WAS READ <br />asking the City Council to urge Legislative Bodies to approve the Construction Plan. <br />Councilman Granger moved that the letter be filed for further reference, seconded by <br />Councilman Morgan and carried. <br />APPOINTMENT TO THE PORT COMMISSION. City Manager Rolison appointed Mr. John Rolla to fill <br />the unexpired term of Mr. Thomas A. Rhorabough, deceased, which would expire July, 1952• <br />
