The committee suggested that communications <br />I call, <br />be placed in a small concrete building. and in. the event of damage to the main station <br />not <br />offices in charge would go to this stand-by station and. from there communicate with <br />the departments mobile units. Committee instructed Chief Wood to submit cost of <br />ted <br />such station and communications and 45381 was estimated for cost including install- <br />ation. Fire 'Chief was to see if the architect, Matt Lehmann, would include this in <br />Preliminary plans for fire station in Friendly Acres. Councilman Jones suggested <br />be <br />splitting expense three ways and .charge to Fire Department, Police Department, and <br />31, <br />Civil Defense. Councilman Granger moved that other funds than bond money be a <br />appropriated to a room to be built of cement and tied in for future expansion of <br />1g <br />the fire house, architect to be asked to incorporate this room for auxiliary <br />connnunications figures to be obtained aside from the amount of bond money that <br />apply <br />could be used, seconded by Councilman Royer. City Manager thought if this room was <br />n. <br />incorporated in the fire station proper .that money for room could not be advanced <br />from Bond money. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION 1087 TRNASFERRING 42678.99 FROM UNBUDGETED RESERVE TO PAY FROST& BRIAN <br />ERGINEERS FOR BROADWAY* ARSHALL was offered and moved for adoption by Councilman <br />J <br />Royer, seconded by 'Councilman Jones, and carried. <br />CITY ATTORNEY CURRIE GIVEN PERMISSION TO LEAVE STATE ON VACATION. <br />le -_ <br />OODNOIL BUDGET STUDY MEETING TO BE HELD WEDNESDAY NIGHT, JUNE 20th. <br />Ld ;; <br />REPLY HAD BEEN RECEIVED REGARDING RENTAL OF NATIONAL GUARD ARMORY, but not much light <br />was thrown on this protest by the City on what they considered high_.rental and it <br />was suggested in their letter from National Guardthat they again talk with the Board. <br />Councilman Spillers moved that this be reffered to the Recreation Commission, <br />I <br />
