It was the recommendation of Mr. Jain and Mr. <br />Ro;ison that the low bid of Weibe accepted and was so moved by Councilman Morgan, seconded by <br />Councilman Royer and carried. <br />REPORT ON BID OPENING. 30 PARKING METERS. Magee -Hale Park-O-rdeter Co. submitted bid of $60 on complete meter <br />head, plus $4.00 for pipe standard and sidewalk collar,4 Installation would be $5.00 extra, but the <br />City 'would make their own installation. There were to be installed on El Camino Real on the north aide <br />1 <br />between Broadway and James. Councilman Royer moved acceptance of bid, seconded, by Councilman Morgan <br />and carried. <br />it <br />REPORT ON• ID tOPENING EMERALD LAKE WATER MAINS. Councilman, Rayer moved that this be held over to the next regular meeting) <br />seconded by Councilman Granger and carried, <br />a i <br />REPORT ON BID OPENING AGGREGATE SPREADER. A. L. Young Machinery Company $887.50 and Casson Hale Corporation <br />I: <br />$1,159.00. The bid of Young Machinery had been reduced by the amount of $450 to cover three. months' <br />l'i' <br />IIh <br />rental: of a new aggregate spreader at $150 per month. -In order to take advantage of the reduction for <br />I r <br />it <br />If <br />rental, it was recommended that this bid be accepted. The machine was very satisfactory and City Engi- <br />neer and City Manager concurred in recommendation. Councilman Jones moved approval of recommendation, <br />seconded by Councilman Morgan and carried. <br />FURTHER CONSIDERATION BIDS STAFFORD PARK REST ROOMS. City Manager asked that this be held over on account <br />of irregularity of bids. Councilman Morgan moved that all bids be rejected, City Manager to submit <br />t <br />,i' q <br />revised plans to the Council -for approval, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. <br />I <br />REPORT ON BIDS FOR 121+ and 16++ CAST IRON PIPE by the City -Manager to be installed in accordance with the <br />ItI <br />recommendation of the Board of Fire Underwriters and paid for by bond money recently voted for this <br />Purpose.
