Councilman Spillers noted absent. <br />RESOLUTION No -1175 REQURSTING CANCELLATION OF COUNTY TAXES ON FRANKLIN STREET PARKING LOT <br />was offered and moved for adoption by Councilman Morgan, seconded by Councilman Jones <br />and carried on roll call. Councilman Spillers noted absent. <br />TRAFFIC FACT FINDING COMMITTEE'S RECOMMENDATION FOR STOP SIGN ON SPRING STREET AT MAPLE. <br />RESOLUTION No -1176 WAS OFFERED BY Councilman Royer establishing stop sign on Spring <br />Street at Maple Street and moved for adoption, seconded by Councilman Herkner and <br />carried on roll call. Councilman Spillers noted absent. <br />TRAFFIC FACT FINDING COMMITTEE RECOMMENDED ESTABLISHMENT OF RED NO PARKING ZONE FOR ONE <br />CAR LENGTH ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF Main Street and Middlefield on the Middlefield <br />Road side. Councilman Granger moved that the necessary ordinance be prepared, <br />seconded by Councilman Morgan and carried. <br />TRAFFIC” FACT FINDING COMMITTEE RECOMMENDED THAT MIDDLEFIELD ROAD BE DISIGNATED as an <br />Arterial and that Stop signs be installed at the following locations: <br />One (1) each on Maple Street at each of Maple Street's intersections with <br />Middlefield Road. <br />One (1) on Elm Street at the intersection of Elm Street and Middlefield Road. <br />One (1) each on Beech Street at each of Beech Street's intersections with <br />Iuiiddlefield Road. <br />One (1) each on Cedar Street at each of Cedar Street's intersections with <br />Middlefield Road. <br />One (1) each on Pine Street at each of Pine Street's intersections with <br />Middlefield Road. <br />One (1) each on Buckeye Street at each of Buckeye Street's intersections with <br />Middlefield Road. <br />One (1) each on Manzanita Street at each of Manzanita Street's intersections <br />with Middlefield Road. <br />One (1) each on Laurel Street at each of Laurel Streets intersections with <br />Middlefield Road. <br />One (1) each on Willow Street at each of Willow Street's intersections with <br />Middlefield Road. <br />COUNCILMAN MORGAN OFFERED RESOLUTION No -1177 and moved its adoption, seconded by Council- <br />man Herkner and carried on roll call. COMMITTEE RECOMMENDED STOP SIGNS ON PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE at each of <br />the following intersections: <br />One (1) each on Pennsylvania at each of Pennsylvania's intersections with <br />Maple Street. <br />One (1) each on Pennsylvania at each of Pennsylvania's intersections with <br />Main Street. <br />One (1) each on Pennsylvania at each of Pennsylvania's intersections with <br />Cedar Street. <br />One (1) each on Pennsylvania at each of Pennsylvania's intersections with <br />Chestnut Street. <br />One (1) each on Pennsylvania at the intersection of Pennsylvania and <br />Spruce Street. <br />COUNCILMAN MORGAN OFFERED RESOLUTION No -1178 and moved its adoption establishing Stop <br />Cedar, Chestnut and Spruce Streets, <br />signs on Pennsylvania .Avenue at Maple, Main,.,/ seconded by Councilman Jones and carried on <br />roll call. Councilman Spillers noted absent. <br />CITY ENGINEER JAIN FURTHER REPORTED ON CONDITION OF BRADFORD STREET BRIDGE. Mr. Jain <br />exhibited photographs taken showing that bridge was in very bad condition there <br />being very little left which could be salvaged. Her stated that timber bridge might <br />be built if properly designed but was of the opinion this would cost considerable <br />money. After further discussion Councilman Granger moved that City Manager contact <br />some bridge building company and get an estimate of the amount necessary to repair <br />bridge and make passable, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried. <br />
