Chemical <br />Co, be accepted for spraying at the prices listed in their proposals. Mayor Britschgi <br />stated he would vote against this award as he is still of the opinion that the City <br />could do could do a better job by purchasing necessary equipment and assigning a man <br />full time to the program. City Engineer Jain explained that this present bid was <br />considered to be the most economical and an attempt had been made to work out the <br />beat program at a fair cost to the property owners. He explained further that matter <br />should be decided at once as further delay would result in considerable difficulty in <br />disposing of weeds. After considerable discussion as to methods of weed abatement <br />program, Councilman Royer stated that in his opinion there was no time to study into <br />the change of program for this year and he therefore moved to accept recommendation <br />ed of the City Manager.
